Noob DH Havoc

Hi there Im kinda new and I tried a few specs here and there and I recently started playing a DH aswell because they look so freaking awesome.

Now my question is , what is the best way to survive? I feel like DH is so squishy and my damage is very low compared to my other classes that I already played :frowning:

DH is weak.
0 burst
0 Good defence cds
0 ST dmg

Can confirm. A few days ago a 36k HP DH engaged me in wPvP, I have 29k but was at about 50% HP and yet, despite the gear plus initial HP disadvantages he barely survived the fight, he was 1 Kill Shot away from dying when he killed me, so yeah… Havoc DH is really in need of some sort of buff.

Yeah havoc is in a really bad spot tbh I play because I’ve mained since it’s release and not re rolling. If I was starting new at the moment I wouldn’t touch havoc with a barge pole - if I were to pick dh from scratch I would main tank.

Well, if you don’t wanna reroll, I’d say learning how to tank with it would be a sensible choice, plus they are quite good in mythics atm, so yeah I would strongly advise that if you don’t wanna give up on your main. Or, you can keep playing Havoc despite the way it is atm and do your thing. I completly understand your position tho, SV Hunter is my favourite spec in the whole game and I played it (and Havoc DH) through BfA when BM Hunter was the go-to, and I still keep playing it now that MM is the favourite son, and tbh due to me being so familiar with the spec and knowing what to do, etc, I end up having better DPS as SV than as MM, due to simply being what I am comfortable with, even matching my MM buddy with whom I play quite frequently.
This to say, if you really love Havoc and it’s what you feel confortable with, then just do your thing anyway, because if you like it and you know how to play it, you can still have fun and perform decently enough I guess.
I’d still advise taking Veng for a spin tho, might be a nice change of pace while still keeping a somewhat similar playstyle.

I am actually thinking about turning mine into a tank, haven’t really played with him for plenty of months, but I want a tank and respeccing my DH, with whom I am also already familiar with, seems like a better choice than just starting all over with another toon.

Nah, that’s not true. Blur is a solid cd. It’s just not enough.

Netherwalk should be baseline ( or the Leech should be )
