I have a normal Draenei Paladin and a Lightforged Draenei Paladin both 120.
I mainly play holy paladin so racial wise i would say normal Draenei for the healing spell. but i can’t deside yet…
Who would you pick? normal or lightforged? with shadowlands in mind.
Lightforged as tank or dps . Normal for heal.
Having met many Draenei on my travels, I can say with confidence there aren’t any normal ones.

From a purely visual point, I personally prefer the original draenei. They’re also slated for a bunch of customisation options fairly soon, so you can make yours look more unique than you can with a LF at the moment.
Hell if I know if the racials make a serious difference in PvE/P.
Normal draenei get really nice new hairstyles. Lightforged don’t.

No matter how pretty the hair, it’s still a goat.
I think Lightforged are much cooler looking, especially as a Paladin. That’s all that matters to me. Minor racial bonuses rarely affect my race choice.
I would pick based on aesthetics, not racials. They make such a minute difference, the morale boost of looking good is far more important. I’m not a goat lover though. But I will say the heritage armor doesn’t really look like anything special for a Paladin, would imagine that matters more for a non-plate class that wants to look more platey.

Lightforged based on Lore-reasons. Hard to beat being literally Lightforged when being a Paladin. Picking races based on racials is being waaaaay too min/maxy in my opinion.
Normal because they get more customisations and LF racial for killing demons is moot.
It’s only moot until they release Cataclysmic Legion where they remake Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor with demon invasions where the entire continents are swarming with demons.

Personally, I have both but I’m a shadow priest and a Lightforged Draenei SP just seems wrong somehow.

Unless normal draenei heritage armor is amazing.
