why would you kick ppl from normal dungeons other then being afk but i hear more and more from friends there alt’s getting a kick from normal dungeons??? its why they are there for new alts and low gear’d ppl its like the m+ attitude is imported to normal dungeons aswel now.
i do understand up to a point doin this in m+ but normal one’s the lowest difficulty there is realy!!!.
i can think ofa few scenarios…for example we used to votekick vulperas with my friend when leveling our tauren rogue/mage lmao
hates fox people, plays cow people… logic.
Having read his posts im pleasantly surprised he can navigateto the kick button.
Because the target audience for this game is toxic.
people are rushing to max level. you can always group up with your friends to prevent this
wow is mmorpg - people need to stop treatnig it as single player game if they want to have mmorpg experience.
I think problem here is, trying to expect same shared point of view towards the game from random people you get from random dungeon finder.
If you want to play with people who has your mindset, interact with people outside of random instances in the game. Make friends with shared views. Play with them.
You can’t both have your cake and eat it too. People use the random dungeon finder to level up as fast as possible, and you trying to experience it as a minority of the group doesn’t justify 4 other people getting their will bent to you. This goes for everything.
P.S.: Don’t tell people they’re toxic because they don’t like what you like and do their thing instead of yours. That isn’t something to get mad at, and certainly doesn’t call for being called as “toxic”. In fact, what you’re doing is a hell of a lot more toxic than anything else.
Back in shadowlands i got kicked from a dungeon for using the wrong covenant for my class / spec.
So sorry for wanting to teleport instead of turning into a spectral furry.
People like them are ridiculous. But I see no problem pulling packs back to back to have a speedy leveling process. But in some cases for some classes and specs, choosing wrong covenant could be the equivalent of missing half of your talent tree while you’re lvl 70 in dragonflight. Thank god at least we don’t live in that past anymore.
i was doing like 17-18 on my necro warlock (which was as far away from bis covenant as possible ) back then and was doing just fine.
unless you were hardcore pusher nobody really cared
Whilst this mentality existed pre-M+ I think it has been exacerbated by this system.
It’s a self-reinforcing cycle, the more this mentality pervades in the PuGing scene the more players who find this mentality off-putting leave the PuGing scene and join Guilds / Communities to avoid it, the worse the PuGing scene gets - pushing even more people away from it.
always kick underperforming noobs
remember i dont care about you,
only to finish fast and get loot
you do realise i was talking about normal dungeons not heroic not m+ m8.
I think DPS have mostly learned their lesson with rushrushrush tanks by now though. The trick is to hang way back and wait and see if they can put their money where their mouth is (also if the healer can keep them alive)…
Only then do you spring into action!!LOL
Although really people shouldnt be drama queens about normals. The only reasons to kick someone are if they AFK/disconnect or if they are being a total a**hole!
…or if they’re talking nonsense more than their contribution into group’s frustration.
i never really had any of these issues since i started playing during tbc and by no means am i some elite player. In fact most of the time i am playing i am not even sober. Yet there are so many people often coming to the forums complaining about this.
It kind of makes me feel like the people coming here leave things out like insulting people or something else. Most dungeons are streamlined and impossible to get lost in these days . So i find it really hard to get kicked unless you are constantly ninjapulling things or are running 10km behind the group doing nothing or just being rather unpleasant to other people.
Especially in normal dungeons kicking people and replacing them tends to take more time than just zerging trough it as fast as possible
When I play as dps, unless tank is continental drift level slow, I go along with the pace. Otherwise it gets boring, mindnumbingly easy packs getting solo-pulled is boring as much as it’s a waste of time.
When it comes to that, people has to remind themselves that there are 4 other players and it’s not just about you, but if majority of group agrees to something, and it’s dead wrong and annoying for you, feel free to leave.
Only downside is, you’ll get a 30 min deserter debuff because of it.
P.S. : In normals, as a tank anyways, you most definitely need no one to stay alive, which makes it easier to do massive and fun pulls. Which is what I do in tank spec. And we kick people who constantly is semi-afk and not contributing in a dungeon. In normal leveling dungeon groups that I’ve all been in, people yearn a tank that has balls to go big and fun mostly. Emphasis on mostly. Because they wanna do endgame content, unlock all those sweet talents, and unlock and do even more content as soon as possible.
because some irl frustrated people can abuse the little power they get in the game
Nobody is going to kick you from a normal dungeon. You really need to run your mouth and be an absolute donkey in order to get kicked.
I guess i am a donkey then.
