I still remember the freaking Ancient in Org. With terrible grammar (I know, not a sin, but it really compounded it all…) and “Muh Neutrals” way too soon after Teldrassil and… ugh.

They were definitely the type of people to seriously tell you “Everyone sees an Ancient walking in Teldrassil, no one bats an eye but when you do it in Orgrimmar, everybody be losing their mind!”
I’m sure the Goblins who went on a mass lumber harvest in Azshara sure left you, this unique tree all alone and even invited you in the city no problemo.

cant stress this one enough. cant speak for the argument on the forums here as i havent been as observant for a while but i remember the mass cries of “Nelf rp is dead nelf rp is over nelf bros” outside them in certain circles. now look at the nelf rp scene. it was never truly “dead” but one good plot and result and its flourishing. that’s all it would take for the horde to boom again.

I even remember talking to them in Dutch ( we sadly share a a homeland) but their Dutch was as garbled as their english.

The ignoring and ‘live and let live’ stuff happened before the big forum threads. The threads were the end of the ignoring, when the larger community saw what was going on.
They do and I have fourteen in-game mails to prove it.
And also that one of their members RPs a dracthyr that had vulpera-dracthyr hybrid babies in a basket, because the horrors of Aberrus weren’t traumatic enough.
