why the heck do we have a quest that require us to do 4 world quests in revendreth yet we cannot complete it because there isnt enough quests ???
Good thing you have 3 days to complete it.
Because world quests reset daily.
There were 2 of them in the morning, I did the conduit one that was useful to me, my progress is 20% now I’ll join a mythic Sanguine and be done with it.
Emissaries are better currently, you can complete them in different ways, it doesn’t have to be world quests.
It is “help revendreth” not “help world quests”.
I did the 2 WQs and a couple of side quests and finished it.
What I meant was that, he doesn’t have to complete them by doing quests constantly, there are other ways.
The calling quest never said to complete WQs, kill a rare thats 15%, open a treasure thats 10%, complete a WQ thats 25%.
the callings were made to not be a world quest meta quest
Just do a revendreth dungeon and it completes 100%. Also rares and treasures count too.
Treasures contribute, easy 20% to the progress bar.
Murder some rares.
First off, it’s not really a daily, you have 3 days to do it.
Secondly, stop whining because you can’t do it all in a few hours, exercise some patience and stop crying about something that is a total non issue.
Thirdly, the quest isn’t exclusively for WQ’s, killing world boss mobs also helps.
BTW I have more than enough WQ’s to complete it today.
If it’s the help other covenant quest, then you don’t need to do WQs for it, I do rares, and open chests, rewards from chests are usually the same as WQs and it’s more fun to look for the chest, usually it’s either locked behind a simple puzzle or hidden a little.
If it actually is the covenant daily quest, then it just says help them out, you made the restriction that it’s 4 WQs yourself ^^
You can literally even do a Dungeon and it will add a lot to your percentage.
Blizzard seems to have sunk to a new low with this time gating rubbish. I cleared all WQ’s yesterday and today I have a total of 4, one in each zone.
This dev team needs to learn exactly what a MMO is and realise that WoW is NOT D3, nor is it some Asian grindy type MMO. If they can’t learn that then they need to step down and let a team in that knows how to develop a real MMO.
Your post makes no sense and maybe it is you who is mistaken about what an MMO is?
Wow. Nothing you said makes sense. You might want to have your own opinion instead of parroting others. If anything, Legion and BfA was like D3 with the infinite grind, not Shadowlands, the first expansion in a while that doesn’t require us to nolife the game. Find new things to parrot because these things are no longer valid.
I’m also perfectly sure you never played an asian f2p mmo before, because then you wouldn’t say stupid things like this.
I know exactly what a MMO is, been playing them for 17 years.
MMORPG’s (perhaps I should have specified that originally) are about the story and character progression.
SL has a story, sure, but character progression is messed up with all this scaling and borrowed power. Where’s the progression when doing Legion raids are easier as a level 50 than it is as a level 60 ?
The whole scaling malarky should be abandoned IMO, where’s the incentive to level and gear up when the mobs do the same ?
Grouping up is also part of it too, but where’s the incentive when scaling (again) makes some content harder to do as a group than as a solo player ?
As for the story, SL story takes a few days to get through and then you’re down to doing dailies and world quests, or repeating content over and over to just mindlessly grind for rep and currency in order to advance.
Blizzard are using every trick to make is log in for longer (US and EU players can take flyer, this is done for the Asian market because we don’t really matter, being approx 5% of their total users).
This limiting of WQ’s is one of those tricks.
You have that quest for 3 days. You don’t need to do it in 1 day and the reason why you can’t do it is because you probs completed some before you took the quest. Do you really want them to add EVEN MORE WQs?
Then why are you crying just cause you gotta fly to a few different locations.
Yeah it is, but that doesn’t break any kind of MMORPG code, that’s just a design decision. I think a bigger violation of MMORPG code is the fact the game isn’t even an MMORPG anymore.
What quest? You mean those callings? Those count more then just world quests; killing rares, doing the dungeons in an area and other activities count aswell.
And if you would have actually read the very objective of the calling you would have already known that…
It always surprises me how many people complain about things they should have been able to find out by reading a quest text.
