Pretty much the title. I’ve been trying to get loot from world bosses, mythic+ and the arathi world boss…with little to no luck whatsoever. Being unlucky with loot is really starting to piss me off…since there’s no way to Actually progress further…meaning i’m stuck at my current ilvl.
And with pugs not taking any dps under ilvl 390 i can’t do normal uldir either. (No i will NOT make a group for it, i just can’t.) and hoping for titanforging…what fun right? ugh…

You are not 380.
You are not 370.
You are not 360.
You are not 350.
…Do I even need to say more?
Only option for you IS to make your own group or you won’t be progressing.

No, the game is “dieing” because literally the only enjoyment some players are getting out of it is gear rewards, as show-cased by the OP. When those gear rewards and upgrades dry up players start to realise that the game itself isn’t actually fun to play. The only thing keeping them going at that point is the dopamine hit they get when they receive a new item. The only way to break out of that is to find something you enjoy doing regardless of whether you get rewarded for it or not.
Ermm no offense like. But you’re obviously not playing optimally at all. It took me 3 days to get into heroic raid and 370 ilevel, after freshly hitting 120. On my very first horde character…
The stars did align and it was 4x m+ weekly, warfront was up to spam for easy 350 gear. 355 items of world boss. Which puts you at enough to get LFR done. Get your emissarys done for easy azerite pieces, that scale to 370. Then do some m+5 , which you can easily get in without any raider io. And then find a guild that does heroic raid.
It’s really really stupidly easy to gear these days. Far easier to get a decent ilevel (370ish), then it ever has been in wow.
Tl:Dr
Do all your daily quests, weekly’s, world bosses, then work up LFR>normal>heroic. And m0->m+10
Or roll a range chara guilds are crying out for, and get boosted.
If you JUST go for Ilvl, then sure, it’s pretty easy to get it. But, ilvl isn’t the thing anyone should be aiming for. They should be aiming for their BiS gear, that has their best Secondary Stats. I’ve stayed around 358-362 for a while now, whilst changing out all of my ilvl gear for BiS gear, and my DPS has been going up, rather than down. Just aiming for ilvl’s isn’t going to get you anywhere lmao.
I did not get my first EPIC item as a random world-drop before WARLORDS OF DRAENOR.

In your case the stars really did align and not only because it was the right week to hit 120 but also because you got the correct loot for the correct slot.
This is not normal and shows the actual problem with the slot machine design.
With my druid here I run every day some M+ (lvl 6 or because I cannot get into anything higher right now) but I cannot even get a weapon. Every day I get like another belt or cloak. Since weeks I am stuck on this ilvl. Azerite cache from world bosses give me always helms. Till you get 370 ilvl azerite gear from WQ you need to be at least 365+ and that is actually filling almost every slot with 370 gear except azerite gear.
Not everyone has fun in raids or the time for it.
BTW doing +5 mythics will yield in 355 (?) gear and not give you an average ilvl of 370 as you claim.

I completely agree with you OP. Also for me, its the titanforge/warforge issue… I just don’t get how its possible that mythic ilvl gear “drops” from heroic bosses. I know that it will help us killing the mythic bosses more “easily” (although i do know its 90% tactics on mythic) but if people are well geared dps/healing wise it will be easier…
I just thought killing raid bosses was about gear progression (i am probably just old fashioned), but really what is the point of doing mythic if the same gear can drop by doing heroic?

Well to be honest most of us on EU except Brits are not native English speakers but the most important thing for grammar is listening and repeating what you want to write down because you can discern in your head what sounds right and wrong cause dieing sounds wrong and dying sounds correct.Also one last off-topic thing Brits hold a grudge to anyone who has bad grammar or is not a native English speaker its rather annoying.
