I haven’t played since Dragonflight when PvP set bonus gear was obtained through the Vault, but as I can see this no longer rewards PvP gear, so how is this obtainable? Do I have to do PvE content to get PvP set bonus gear or am I missing something? I also don’t understand all these new currencies required for upgrading conquest gear. Is it me or have they forced PvP players to have to do PvE content in order to progress and upgrade gear? If anyone is able to advise the most efficient way to obtain PvP set bonus gear and upgrade conquest gear it would be much appreciated, as I’m not sure if it’s changed this season as I’ve started late in TWW
You dont have to do any PvE for the set bonus, you get every 2 weeks a catalysator charge (catalysator stands in Dornogal at the forge in the middle), which you can use to transform your conquest or bloody token epic gear into a set bonus item.
Instead of the vault slots we get more conquest per week, and you dont have to upgrade the conquest gear, it scales to 678ilvl in BGs, Arena and World PvP. (Except for if you want to do PvE content)
Best way to farm conquest depends on what kind of PvP you want to play.
You can go rated 2v2 which gives much conquest in a short amount of time, otherwise first BG wins per days and Warchests.
I would suggest to to do the Sparks of War weekly quest which gives 1000 tokens, PvP world quests that reward 500 extra tokens, and in general some world quests in Warmode On (every world quest gives 100 tokens), to buy the epic bloody token gear which scales up to 675, only 3ilvl under conquest gear.
Thanks Jay much appreciated, I didn’t know about this Catalyst and its answered my question!
Don’t even start playing the game.
