Playing caster at mid to low rating still feels awful
What am I supposed to do as an SP against two warriors?
Nothing you don’t do anything, you cannot heal 8M damage done in 2 seconds.
Melees and especially warriors have been a bane to this game’s PvP enjoyement for far too long.
I’m sick of it, good play is no longer being rewarded, good CD juggling, positioning doesn’t matter anymore because you’ll always have two warriors just tunneling you a lobby out of two which have MUCH SHORTER and much more accessible disrupting tool and bursting tool than you, it’s a fight lost the second you zone in.
You know what’s funny? Warlock has always been the best class besides Mage and Rog and Warry is OP once every 5 seasons but keep crying.

High rating (past 2k) and mid / low are not the same game.
While not exactly a pvp casual, I’m not exactly coring it out either, once I get 1k8 on a class, I switch to another, and for 3 years it’s been the same walk of Melees curvestomping casters at thiss rating range.
Of course casters are strong, they just have a skill ceiling much higher than melee (except frost mage)
Solution?
Who says anything about a solution, if Blizzard read it warrior, rets and Havoc wouldn’t be broken a patch out of two.

deva demo mm arcane sp,bm all very viable but not top tier. facing plenty of em at 2.4mmr+ in 3s, destro also hidden good just look at NA before ppl figure it out more on eu if ur not competing for r1 you can hit glad as any class/spec rn even dk unholy with dh is great
Y, i knw your feelings, with Affli I always tunneled by WW and War and DKs. Have no root, freeze, just slows, but they had more tools to grip rush leap on me.
I just swap to WW and only frost mages feels counter of me, and maybe Bm hunters. I ate warlocks.
No frostmage under 1900. Fter I hit 1900 each lobby has a frostmage or caster.
In caster lobbies melees are just losing all the time
I had to improve my gameplay, but I know with caster its much harder.
I never said mage and ele are the only viable casters. Ofc you hit glad with basically anything. You just have put in 500 times the effort as anything but mage or ele caster-wise.

there is 2 casters in this list… i don’t think its random that frost does well mostly vs ww retri and warr too… more than being strong or not its literally just a game of chase that only mage seems to be able to get away from, that and the obnoxious frostbite
in a room with lock sp boomie and mage, i wouldn’t say mage has the upper hand, but because warr retri and ww are the most popular ongoing frost is the only caster who can do well

Yes he does. Lock used to counter mage. Now it’s the other way around. Neither sp nor boomy (especially not boomy) are on mage level. Obviously a bad mage will have a hard time. A good mage though will be immortal and make everyones life miserable.
