Nothing to do

There is nothing to do. I finished all reps, reached highest pvp rank, and I don’t want to farm gold. The only thing left is pvp open world and bgs which gets boring after a few.

Maybe give an endless pvp reward system.

Say that you’re a no life who doesn’t touch grass without telling me. I guess good for you? Take a pause, go outside and enjoy life for a bit buddy. P4 is coming soon so you can stock up on those energy drinks.

There’s plenty to do, P4 will bring even more.

Can you give some suggestions as to what there is to do that came with phase 3?

I don’t want to do the same thing with another char.

You don’t have to 24/7 SoD.

I am playing several different games, some 1-2 hrs per day, some once per week etc.

I like playing wow and honestly idk why you defend blizz on this. The only new thing that came with phase 3 is a new raid once a week.

I don’t defend blizz.

I am currently playing cata classic to gear up a mage.

Just play the things you feel like playing.

If you don’t have fun in SoD then just don’t play

what can we do? sue blizz for low effort fun?

They always said/implied 1 raid per each of the first three phases. You could get that when they said “THE level 25 raid will be BFD”, before SoD was even launched. They never promised multiple raids on first phases.

It’s like buying a shampoo that is advertised as being just shampoo and then complaining “why is it not also a conditioner or body soap?”

plenty to do in some ways. im currently trying to get that warlock weapon and tbh its breaking me endlessly running rounds for hours and hours on end. for nothing

If it is any consolation I agree with you. I get a lot of people will turn to the “touch grass” rubbish but the reality is SoD, and especially phase 3 is the most empty version of WoW there has ever been and my job requires me to work 8-10 hours 5 days a week, so it’s not a matter of spending all my time on the game.

I hit level 50 in a few hours thanks to incursions, which I did try to skip, spent a while doing normal questing but once I found out you could makes hundreds of hold, some pretty much pre-raid bis gear and a rune from the rep it pretty much became required to do it.

I spent about 2/3 evenings getting some pre-raid bis, and since then I log on once a week to raid. Sometimes I log in because I feel like playing classic wow, stand in a city for 10 minutes and log back off.

Sure there are other version of WoW, but I’m not a retail player, I played Cataclysm to death when it was originally out and Era servers are pretty dead. So yeah I play other games and I will probably continue playing SoD as it’s 1 night a week I just relax with friends and raid, but it is pretty clear that the lack of engagement is leading to the dropping player count which will go on effect P4 so it is a shame.

right, and he’s telling you he want to play SOD, and he can’t because there’s nothing to do.
alt leveling is not fresh content. its what you do when there’s literally nothing better to do.

there should always be something to do on your main character. hopefully phase 4 brings some much needed activity into the game.

original vanilla wow had something to do for your main character no matter what stage / phase of the game you’re in.
SOD doesn’t, because the game was never designed to hold us hostage at lvl 50, they tried adding some stuff for us to do at 50, but it was clearly a very poor attempt.

the wild offerings thing was a great idea, but ultimately poorly implemented, should have had every boss in a dungeon drop 1 each, so there’s an incentive to actually clear the whole thing instead of skipping to princess over and over.

another thing they added to try and keep us busy was incursions, and i’m pretty sure most people despise their existence at this point, for better or worse.

at lvl 60 you’ll be out farming some sort of item or material pretty much constantly, because you can never have enough arcane crystals, you can never have enough righteous orbs, you can never have enough winterfall firewater, you can always go on a treasure hunt with the goal of finding a rare alchemy/enchanting recipe which will be a huge dopamine hit once it does drop.

you can farm gear (lots of dungeon gear is bis through many raid tiers, a good example being ironfoe and savage gladiator chain).

you can sell diremaul tribute runs as a hunter (omegabusted btw)… etc. etc.

trust me, when phase 4 comes around and we’re allowed to hit max level, you’ll find that there’s tons more things to do, and the best thing is that it doesn’t need to push you to do it (AHEM INCURSIONS) it just happens naturally.

3 people in my guild found the dagger this week.
don’t give up.

That’s a thing in retail not classic.

i love delulu casuals who didn’t even do ST in this phase, like Cavek and did gnomeregan in phase2 5 times.

If that’s the way you play the game - fine, but we are also customers and we can express our opinions here, so touch the grass and farms some boars in org.

There are plenty things to do, you just don’t like them.
That’s on you.

just move along and play the other WoWs that are out. SOD is not meant to be 24/7 job with moving goal postes.

WoW has like 4 versions right now. Dragonflight, WoW Classic Era, HC (SF), SoD, Cata (prepatch). In a week on May 16th we would also have MoP Remix. Don’t say you have done em all if you want something out of your suscription in your seemingly enormous free time.

My dude if you overplay a game then you overplay a game. You did everything there is to do? Congrats, you’ve won phase 3. You’re completed. There is nothing else to do because you’ve succeeded it all. It’s time to move on until phase 4 drops.

WoW isn’t the kind of game that drops a end credits screen when you complete everything there is for you to do, you just kinda decide to stop playing at some point. For you, that point is now.
