Nova not banned yet?

Did Blizzard ban the company Nova yet? I saw them in trade chat again today on the horde side and alliance side :joy:

Not until someone exposes them for trading with real money., and want to make sure that all traces of blizzard in Nova, accepting real life money from them is gone, they will act.

no idea what or who nova is but i assume they are a boosting community? if so, then as long as they are not involved with rtm they are allowed to advertise in trade chat.

Most big boosting groups probably are but blizz can’t do nothing till they have proof.

In reality Blizzard can do what they want, and they do.

Blizzard just need to prohibit boosting for reward and watch the number of boosters plummet. It’s bring too many issues.

If you are aware of any RMT going on involving any boosting organisation you can contact Blizzard to report them.

Boosting for gold is not against the rules and will not get any community banned. They are permitted to advertise in the Trade channel but you can report any ads you see in the group finder by right clicking and reporting them for Advertising.

Bosting yes use 3 party program to spam messages not legal

If the addon is on curse its legal simple as that .

Ah hello again Nova Vendetta person

It is not against the rules to repeatedly advertise for a boosting community.

If you see multiple names advertising the same community it is usually because they are separate individuals. Advertisers are paid commission based on the bookings they make. They are the middle men between booster and buyer. This is the going rate on Nova for example:-

As I have previously explained if you know of any actual rule breaking like Real Money Trading then you can contact Blizzard:-

To file a detailed report, including videos and screenshots:

  1. Email Hacks@Blizzard.com
  2. Provide as many details as possible about the situation.

Due to the volume of reports, you may not receive a response from our team. However, we take all reports very seriously. Thank you for your vigilance!

An individual advertising more than your ‘three times per hour’ is not classed as spamming by Blizzard, however, if you wanted to report them for spamming you would use right click report. There is a limit on how many times people can post in a channel so the system kind of takes care of that itself.

I would recommend you put trade onto another tab if the constant advertisments for guilds, boost runs etc is something that upsets you. You can also install badboy as I explained previously with the plug in CCleaner. Or you can simply leave trade all together.

Personally I use the separate tab version, then it’s there if I need to look at anything:-

Have to make it clear, its not only boosting communities. Wowhead does it too behind, or with blizzard.

The sub-reddit mods have a lot of power, as reddit is the major platform so I am sure they are making some off of it too.

Now that the attention is on communities boosting, let’s also have it be on all the other things.

Atleast Nova do not join random LFG groups and spam there adverts then leave …

It’s free.
I was silenced by Gold sellers till march next year, for some reason I have been un-silenced ahead of time.

It looks like blizzard figured out what I was saying was actually true. People that are not selling for Gold don’t dislike what I do. Be it advertisement in raids, the majority likes what I do, as its free boosting.

Otherwise, explain how I got unsilenced ahead of time.

If you join a group to plaster an ad at them and then leave I can see why you may suffer silences.

You can see it, but I can’t, nor can people that get plastered by it. I was not silenced by advertising in raids.

When you get silenced, if you get invited to a raid group you can still advertise. I was silenced beforehand. I got more members out of the raids than people that complained.

And Again, I was un-silenced. I feel like blizzard knows it was only gold sellers being pissed at me reporting me.

You know blizzard policy, once you break the rules you wont get un-silenced. If I in fact broke the rules, why am I not silenced tiill march.

I would report you for spamming if you joined a group to spam an ad and leave. It is an aggressive intrusive unwanted means to advertise. Hence I said I can understand you suffer silences if you bother people’s groups.

I can only ask you to think about the future.
If free boosting can take over the Game, then the intrusive, horrible trade spamming will stop.

When I get silenced by Gold sellers in trade chat, and I have no means to advertise, my only option is to go straight to the source. If my community can help get rid of Gold sellers, “Which it can”

It wont get rid of the Top Guild sellers. But it will take care of the constant sylvanas boosting, and all that. The communities will die out, as it wont be worth it for the Gold boosters to have 5 customers, when they in the past had 100+

And I am not overrestimating my project. Once people actually figure out its not a scam, and we get established its bye bye to GOld sellers. Then I wont have to advertise, in raids, I wont have to advertise at all. And the Gold sellers will be gone, poof!

obviously blizzard don’t care. we’ve figured that out.

Whats wrong with people selling dungeon boosts for gold and advertising it?

Its a service provided in exchange of gold, you pay them for the time and loot and both parties get what they want.
