So now that this 1 only abillity which made paladins somewhat viable again after 20 years, its time to implement Long law of the arm or anything with a gap closer. For now there will be literally no reason in the higher level brackets to even bring a ret paladin to premades anymore without the aoe unfapabble daze for group fights or for the fact that paladins not being able to reach a target on time. And in WSG we now can’t be the FCs anymore. Paladins were actually pretty viable being the FC this time around. Now we will have the boring druid fc meta again
Also in every 1v1 ranged fight we’re gonna be a handicapped wheelchar char once again. There will be no way to reach our enemies who can kite us now or have a decent escape abillity like many other classes have. I finally felt I could escape and reach enemies for once.
Blizzard buff paladins, fix them before the SoD turns into the same classic era meta

Alright, how about we buff every other slow ability as well and make them unbreakable? Kinda unfair that you can break my Hamstring, but I can’t break your broken daze… “oh but you have charge” yes, and you have a bubble, a 2nd life bar and heals. So no, your broken daze has been fixed, not nerfed.

You kinda don’t understand the pvp aspect of the game. This is a group based game, everyone brings their weight. Warriors bring good gap closer+mortal strike and dmg. Paladins were now finally good with an aoe slow. This made them viable for group and bg play
There is no point to bring one over a warrior in the future now

Higher level bracket premades ROFL. You’re not playing rated BGs pal you’re stomping pugs and GY farming rep & honor 95% of the time in premade.
Pally will always have a spot because blessing of freedom is so ridiculous on flag carriers.

You can counter it with priests who dispel. Again, this is a group based pvp game. Now that everyone can counter it with a fap or some classes remove it with a trinket its kinda useless now. Also by not having a gap closer make ret paladins again not viable in group pvp over warriors

Im actually exalted on my paladin in WSG. Was great to be a viable FC with avengers shield this time around and to be a viable assist in slowing groups or EFC.
Again, you don’t understand how pvp group play works. You’re a below average pvper if you really think ret is now at the same level as warr will be for future phases in premades+bg pv.
Its easier to bring a holy paladin now which has the same support as a ret does and replace the ret with a warrior

We meet in WSG, you see me and start running away because its 1v1 and you’re scared. I charge and hamstring you. You stun me, break my hamstring and then daze me as you run away and I can’t break your daze. I’m now with a CD on my charge and have no way to catch up to you. Well done on getting carried to exalted Mr.BigBrainPaladin. Enjoy being fixed.
Again this proves my point. Why would I want to 1v1 you being the FC if my job is to get the flag to the other place. Daze wouldn’t even be the problem, but harmstring removal which is freedom and that can be countered by shaman purge or priest dispels.
And even if I wasn’t the FC, why would I still want to 1v1 you ?? Its a group based game, it would be dumb if I was running around alone instead of being with my group
But based on your replies I already know how you play in bgs. Understandable you’re replying this way

You can still do this, only in a way that’s on par with other abilites instead of being vastly superior.
Nah, at higher levels this will not be a thing. Classes will get better consumes, gap closers, own class speed buffs and everyone will run around with faps. And also considering we’re wheelchairs it wont be hard to reach us eventually. Druid will be superior and will be the same meta as in classic wow
