Now they try to get Gallywix

Voss knows the Horde isn’t rooting for Calia.

The ingame lore horde, Erevien.
Stop thinking you are horde. You are not. You are a nerd from Germany.

Its state only here she is popular with the alliance, its not, that the Horde inst rooting for calia (and btw theese anneversry dialogs shoud be taken with a grain of salt- since they shoud be all there for a celebartion, since its about the game, which woud ment tehy were self aware tehy are in a game)

Also, not only Calia is popular with eh allaince, same goes for Thrall (OG leader) and bain who use tehri braincells and not onyy want war.

In the campaign where we work with Calia and Forsaken Council, we get to know that Forsaken have doubts about Calia, because of her name, because of her past…

But we learn in the campaign, that even the general of the royalguard (member of council) learned to kinda respect her. And out of 4 council members, he was the most suspicious of her.

I believe Blizzard was trying to teach us in this campaign, that Calia is being slowly accepted by Forsaken.

Players don’t like her. Alliance loves her because she forced the undead to be nice to the alliance. She is just another traitor.

I don’t think you are in the position to say anything about traitors, you support Gallywix who betrayed the Horde

Alliance loves her, because firstly of her name, but also (although this is my personal opinion based on my interaction/experience with her), she’s kind and of a good heart.

If you say such person is a bad leader, you are just trolling at that point Erevien.

Oh ye, by the way, unlike all Forsaken, Calia has been risen from the dead by Light. Which is explained in the campaign and is the reason actually why Forsaken did not trusted her in the first place. Now i remember.

But you know what this means?
It means even bigger chance in the future, that Undead will have a Paladin option one day.
Which is not something i personally care about. But i am certain many Horde players, especially Undead players would be happy about and are waiting for.
And that’s good enough for me.

Plus you might want to read again what she says here, Voss doesn’t want a leadership role, that is why she is aiming of the ‘fun’ of Leadership. Plus she praises Calia, as Calia praises Lilian Voss, as Lilian helped Calia to accept who she is in her current form.

Calia helped the whole forsaken to at least reunite a little bit between normal humans and undead who were actually family members. They moved forward overall after decades of tragedy, which is admirable.

Undead are supposed to be evil and crazy. We never asked for a light worshipping princess. Which is why they abandoned the concept early.

If you would actually care about lore, you would know that the story of the undead is a tragedy overall due to the Scourge, they never wanted to be seen as evil and crazy and wanted to find a place within the world. They were outcasted, after the tragedy of the scourge. After years the Forsaken finally get closer to their goal of being accepted.

I’m not certain of it, but i actually think Calia isn’t the only leader right? In the campaign, i think it has been stated, that they decided to create this “Forsaken Council”, in which is Calia, Voss, that general of royalguard and that one Alchemist guy.
I think it’s just a question of time that Calia eventually will become the ultimate Forsaken leader, but still wanted to throw that out.

Ye she’s trying to make the relationships between fractions better. She promised Genn that she will pull off the Forsaken armies from the Gilneas Wall right? Something like that.

You live in the past, just like with Goblins.
Times change mate. Everything in the game is evolving, changing.

People don’t want Horde to be viewed as the “bad guys” anymore.

I don’t care what you think really. Blizzard is not using Calia in any way and that makes me happy. Seems the US fans were loud enough.

Indeed the Forsaken Council is led by 5 members:

Lilian Voss
Calia Menethil
Faranell
Belmont
Velonara

They share the council as equals, I wonder where they will go next with the story, it was nice to also see Lilian Voss included within The War Within Campaign.

You can say that, but actions are louder than words.
Not only you respond to me, but you are here, with us, with players. You are here, because you do care about us, our opinions.

She got her spot light recently. Her story evolving will be revealed in time, don’t worry.

Ye that’s right.
Altough i still think in time Calia will be chosen by Forsaken as their ultimate leader.
I think this council is just a temporary “bandage” until Forsaken find themselves again after recent events.

You can think that but it isn’t true. Blizzard saw the rage among Forsaken fans and realised they gambled too high.

Well, we’ll see about that mate xd.

‘Known by some as the Forsaken, this group fights a constant battle not only to retain its freedom from the Scourge, but also to slaughter those who would hunt them as monsters.’ It’s even in the very first intro of Vanilla when you choose for a Forsaken player. Come on Erevien, stop this nonsense of Horde and Forsaken to just be Evil and Crazy, they never wanted to be looked at like that.

Do yourself a favor and actually read some lore, you can even do the same as I will do tonight and the upcoming months. Going to experience the new release of Classic by playing an Undead Warlock.

Forsaken are not meant to be normal humans. They are dark and bitter.
