What if your driver is already updated to the newest update?
Thanks for the tip! Updating my Nvidia driver also fixed the issue for me.
Then you’ll have to try some of the other solutions people have used, I know there are a lot of replies to wade through.
Be nice if we got a Blue response to this, just so we know what’s going on with the Launcher. It’s not normal so many people got this issue.

interestingly, disconnecting and reconnecting to Bnet give a “it’s a busy day, you are in a que now” message. ETA less than a minute, real time 5 min and counting…

What’s really interesting is, when starting WoW using the .exe (not the Launcher) the whole thing up to displaying the Login Screen could (and should) be running locally. Only when you enter your Password there and click on Login it should check back with Blizzard’s Server and let you login (or not).
But the fact that by double clicking the .exe file there is nothing happening tells me that already at that point some background checks happening and, in the current situation, preventing the Login Screen from being shown. Smells shady to me
Have this issue as well. Thought my computer was bugging out. Did a fresh install yesterday because of it and it worked then. Now the same problem is back today.
Waiting for some time does seem to start the game though.
If you have Nvidia app with latest drivers (01/07/25) then optimise WoW in the graphics settings of the app (3rd tab down), this seemed to work for me

Tried scan and repair and it fixed it AT THE TIME. However, it’s now doing the same thing again, so scan and repair seems like a temporary fix at most.
I’ve got the same issue, just waiting for can and repair, to see what that does.

Waiting does not help in my case, Been trying all evening, I managed to get online once after restarting pc and running wow as administrator, but that only worked once. Cant get it to run again since that time. - I also tried to press the ‘check for updates’ button, but its just stuck now. Heard a friend was having the same issue, so i came here to check and yeah, i’m not alone. Hope it’s fixxed soon…
