Now WoW doesn't start anymore

Started yesterday, took 5+ min for game to launch.
Worked like normal when I started playing today, then I lagged out, or something, and it wouldn’t launch again.
Scan & Repair fixed it for now.

Removing the “Battle.net → Agent” as well as “Blizzard → Battle.net” cache fixed it here.

Still happening for me.

I just got in. Dont do repairs etc. Just click on play once and wait for 10 min and u will get in. GL

Yep takes 10mins or so for game to open, it’s terrible.
Don’t spam play, you’ll get 10000000000 WoWs open then.

I was happily mog farming and then suddenly got kicked out, turns out eventually that play button had worked after all xD

Now trying to update overwatch to be able to play but it’s just not happening. Useless launcher. Don’t know what they’ve done to it.

Guys, try clean installation of bnet app which requires to MANUALLY delete all blizzard and battle net folders in:
%ProgramData%
%Program Files (x86)%
%Local%

Not game installation folder tho.

I had this problem. What worked for me was launching WoW from exe file directly. Now the game launches from launcher no problem.

Can you try what I posted earlier, curious if it work with Overwatch update too
Just need to locate where Overwatch is installed after

I did this; if it doesn’t start immediately, kill the process from task manager and relaunch the executable, it may be necessary to do it several times

ive had the same issue today! i had to close my virusscanner who was scanning, my web browsers and spotify. then all if a sudden I had over 10 copies of WoW starting all at once. No idea what is causing it unfortunately. but glad to read i am not the only one struggling

Its 8th July 20:12 and wow not loading at all, greyed out …Ill go watch a movie then.

I ran a repair and stopped it at 10% approximatively, then i managed to start the game

I’m also getting this issue. When I try to scan and repair it just sits on scanning files. When updating it just sits there trying to update files VERY slowly, or it will sit there trying to find the files.
I did try that bnet reset where you uninstall bnet and deleted files. I also reinstalled WoW Classic. I loaded in instantly after all that, but I don’t know if anything I did is an actual “fix” and for how long it will work for.

Surely I shouldn’t need to keep doing this.

The Scan and Repair just sat there so I tried the NVIDIA update and forcing some process to close then starting it all up again. Finally managed to update.

Did my dailies in OW then logged back on wow for more mog farming before reset

I have the same issue and its pretty annoying, can’t load the game for 10 min…

Can confirm. Updating Nvidia driver fixed it.

Same issue, game doesn’t want to open. I did a scan and repair earlier today and it worked, but now nothing. Inside Task Manager it shows multiple instances of the game but that’s it.

I saw some say update Nvidia drivers, this is on AMD so that’s not the issue.
