"Now You're Thinking With Portals" Achievement (Legion)

I have been trying to backtrack some achievements of previous expansions and I wanted to complete “Now You’re Thinking With Portals”. Basically, you have to activate all 9 portals in Suramar to get the achievement.

With some research, I found out I am missing The Waning Crescent Teleport at Starcaller Retreat in Suramar. It seems that unlocking this portal is tied to a quest called “Friends On the Outside” however using the /run code basically tells me I’ve already completed this questline, but I don’t have the portal activated. So I’m kind of stuck and I was wondering if someone knew a way around this.

During the quest, did you activate the beacon at

/way Suramar 47.8 81.6 Activate Telemancy Beacon

If you go there now, do you see it activated?

I did this long ago. I just went out to check and now I’m confused. The portal labelled “Evermoon Terrace” seems also to be the one that is called The Waning Crescent? Does that make any sense in your context?

Maybe you have the portal labelled “Evermoon Terrace” in Shal’aran, and you think you are missing The Waning Crescent, when they are the same thing?

Here’s a thought: reading from left to right, what are the labels on the portals as you see them in Shal’aran?

I have the Evermoon Terrace Portal, so I’m unsure right now.

From left to right, I have these:

  1. Portal to Felsoul Hold
  2. Portal to Falanaar
  3. Portal to Moon Guard Stronghold
  4. Portal to Lunastre Estate
  5. Portal to Ruins of Elune’eth
  6. Portal to Evermoon Terrace
  7. Portal to Sanctum of Order
  8. Missing
  9. Portal to Twilight Vineyards
  10. Portal to Astravar Harbor

And I also went to the coords you sent, I only see a broken teleporter on the ground in the middle of the circle, with burning Nightborne with fel flames and some enemy Nightborne standing around and a demon here and there. I can’t interact with the beacon.

I have completed everything on my Mage, and I see

Portal to Tel’anor

on thet missing portal. It’s in the right-back corner as I look at the portals. I see and agree with everything else you wrote.

It seems to be opened with

I see a comment on the quest item

The road to Tel’anor starts to the east of the Ruins of Elune’eth, at:

/way 38.25, 45.50

From there, take the path all the way up to Tel’anor, where you will find the unpowered beacon at:

/way 42, 35.3

That did the trick, thank you very much! It seems the information on wowhead wasn’t very accurate.
