NPC Characters give out goodbye dialogues whenever I’m navigating through their Quests and Conversations in their Interaction Window. Normally an NPC would issue goodbye dialogue when closing their Interaction Window however they keep saying it with every navigation. I performed many advanced CVar Resets, deleted interface, WTF, cache files, all addons etc and reinstalled WoW on 2 brand new PCs and the issue is still there.
I’ve been submitting Bug Reports regarding the issue for over a year now and nothing has changed. I would love to know if there is anything I could possibly do to fix this?

This issue seems to pop up every now and then (like the one you found recently), but is rather rare, and I don’t believe that a concrete solution has been found.
If it persists, please try the following:
- Reset your interface, for all game versions that you may be using
- Make sure that you don’t reinstall any addon, and that no addon manager is active (also make sure that you’re not using anything that could be altering the game’s files)
- Reset the interface settings on your character with the following command:
/console cvar_default
- Completely uninstall and reinstall the game
- If all of this fails, please do report a bug to our developers, with as many details as possible

Hello,
I´ve done those steps multiple times. The latest attempt was last week when I bought a new PC and freshly installed WoW on it without any addons or addon managers and the issue was of course still there.
What did you mean by using anything that would alter game files?
I will continue submitting bug reports and I truly hope this can be fixed before the next expansion because it´s been ruining the immersion of the game for me.
