Hey. I’m new at this game.
I’m at the city and don’t know how should I find npcs.
I’m sure there are innkeeper, merchants, vendors, blacksmithes in the city but there are no icons for them in the map. Is there a way to see these npcs on the map? Or i just have to remember all of them, where are they?
On the circular minimap top right, click the Magnifying Glass icon around the rim, and there are options for what markers to display. One of them is Townsfolk, and you can check the boxes for each function individually.
There is no equivalent option in the main map, but if you speak to any Guard in the citym they will direct you to specific destinations,
Wowhead.com is an external website that has a vast amount of information and maps. It should be your first resort when you need to knoe things.
There aren’t many quests actually within cities. Cities are places you come to do your business and then get back into the world.
Ask again if you need to know anything else!

Some good advice from Gráinne but there are some times during levelling that quests will start from the main cities if you ever get lost. They can be found on the Heroes board (which tends to be infront of you as you enter the main city) and that will tend to have a quest to direct you back to where you might want to level based on your current progress and level
