Or maybe because he’s been useless and ridiculed in the game for several expansions? The strength of this character lies in the novels, it has never been showcased in the game. I don’t even count his rebellion against Sylvanas as a bold and clever move since he chose to do it for a dumb reason. The game doesn’t do him justice at all.

Tbh in the novels i found him just as insufferable. The only time he was decent was in the removed voicelines from cataclysm.
