Null stones and perception

After i’ve maxxed out Plethora of Ore - Bismuth my null stone drop rate seems to have fallen significantly. Today I spent about 2 hours mining ore, of the 200-300 bismuth nodes I mined I only managed to get 4 null stones. My perception is 552 (19%) so out of 250 nodes i should be getting ~47 (or at least more than 4) null stones.

Anybody else experiencing these issues?

Perception doesn’t work like that. Let’s say there’s 2% chance of getting null stone from a node. 20% perception doesn’t make it 22%, it makes it 2.4% (20% more chance to get an item)

Thanks for educating me, The drop chance of null stones in bismuth must be extremely low then
