Ny'alotha in Valley of Eternal Blossom

As we have greedy emissary event active, we spend much more time farming missing mounts in old raids.

Today, I realised that this is not so easy for Ny’alotha raid.

Last week, when we had the raid active in Uldum, I was able to run N’zoth with over 10 characters without any issue. This week, N’yalotha entrance is active in Pandaria.

It turned out that I can reach the raid this week only with my main character. If I want to kill N’zoth with other alts, I need to do the whole BFA war campaign then unlock Nazjatar, then do half of the 8.3 chain. Before you do so, you are unable to switch Pandaria Timeline to N’zoth assault.

I am not sure if it is intended or just overseight that we have to complete very long chain to access the raid we could access without any questing last week. They make everything Warbound as much as possible but they forgout about it?

It’s always been like this, unfortunately. So a lot of people, this week, will not be able to run this raid with a lot of their alts.

It has been mentioned a lot of times over the years, but it just falls on deaf ears over at Blizzard. So I wouldn’t expect this event to really change their stance & resolve this minor problems (outside of the event).

Yeah… I was checking the internet and noticed posts about if from years ago but… since now this game is very Warbound-friendly it would be nice of them to fix that :stuck_out_tongue:

So bloody glad it dropped last week…

The whole phasing thing and the shifting zones was such a stupid idea. Fingers crossed next week you can go back to farming it.

it is exacly the only raid mount in the game I don’t have so I hate you

not only that, I can’t find some starting quests on some alts. I’m just stuck running around like a headless chicken because npcs are not where they’re supposed to be or they have no quests

As an oldie, and an altoholic, I had one alt I wanted to play - that hadn’t unlocked the heart of azeroth and all that shabang ~
I started on it and quickly realised it is bugged.
Got the quest to talk to Magni in Silithus, in the heart of azeroth chamber; but I can’t use the chamber portal because I have not gotten the heart.

I’ve gone through the steps and it just seems bugged on that char.
Glad I have other alts I had unlocked everything on already, but it’s extremely terribly designed.

Its as poorly designed and off-putting as the story is nowadays :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Phasing is such a pain at times. I do wish they’d stop or at least think ahead when it’s going to be an issue later.

after my 1st alt at least I discovered which quests need to be done and it took me no more 25 minutes to unlock Nyalotha for next characters. Still annoying :3

my problem is that I lvled some alts through bfa and dungeons, so most of them are on different stages of quests, and there’s no quick way for me to see what they’ve done and what they haven’t

Could you share those quests, because I’m at a dead end here.

Try starting by doing the intro to nazjatar on the boat (“send the fleet”). Though that was where I was stuck on some characters who already had the necklace. If you do the nazjatar questline until you open up a portal back into boralus, magni will appear there with a quest that will open up the heart in silithus.

  1. You need to do introduction quest until you choose 1st leveling zone
  2. Then you take the “Send the fleed” from the Ship and do it util Magni in Nazjatar tells you to come back to Silithus.
  3. Then you need to do Hearth of Azeroth chain from Silithus (the one you need to go to Neltharion’s Lair). Before you go to Silithus you need to make sure that you already have the Heart of Azeroth. If you do not, you also need to take the quest “Dying world” on your way to Silithus
  4. After you learn your essence from Nelthations Lair you fly back to the Ship and take the quest from the envelope and you do the chain until the Magni tells you to go to Halls of Origination. You do not need to go to Uldum because you have your Nzoth Pandaria unlocked already/

For clarification, this means the Harbor Master Office in Boralus (for Alliance), letter on table next to zone selection board, the quest you want is “An Unwelcome Advisor”.
Sends you to Anduin in SW Keep, Magni appears, take “Return of the Warrior King”, you can ignore Wrathion’s Quest.
Do Magni’s quest and follow it back to the chamber, some quick work before you get “A Titanic Problem”, after you have this Quest (no need to complete!), Ny’alotha should be unlocked in the Vale.
