Does getting to the raid still require doing BFA content?

I have it on an alt but its quite lol ilvl.

No. You just need to access the area and go inside. No cloak required and from what I’ve seen, normally characters are just phased into the BFA phasing of said zones fron lvl 45

Just go to the zone where the raid is and enter. Not sure is it soloable on mythic, though (for all classes).

If you haven’t done the questline to unlock the assaults in Pandaria then yes you have to do a fair bit, had that issue yesterday on an alt. Uldum is fine but it’s not always in Uldum.

Unless they somehow changed it you have to do a bit of questing to unlock the phase of the zone where the raid is.

This unfortunately does not work in either of the two zones.
I checked it on a character that has never done BFA.

Well, it was on the ones I’ve tried and I was 430-450 ilvl. Were soon getting into the war within and likely passing 600. We’d be so strong in comparison and even if not THAT high, the power difference of 10 levels will be enough to trivialise it

Please Blizzard, make this raid accessible without the lengthy questline and the last 2 bosses without cloak. Or at least hand over the cloak.

I’ve solo’d this raid on my dracthyr a few times. I’ve barely played BFA when it was current, only for like a week or two.

I don’t think it has any requirements to enter.

You do not need the cloak.

    • N’zoth is still very tricky to solo, due to Sanity loss effects

    • N’zoth fight seems to be broken with adds continuously spawning and draining Sanity

    • Besides that, you can’t kill both Psychuses due to the debuff you receive for going down once, meaning the second Psychus will wipe you.
