I have searched the web for info on where to catch Winter Squid, but all I find takes place in classic wow where Aszhara looked much different than to day.
I do NOT play on classic server so how do I catch that darn squid I have tried Hinterlands and Jaguro Isle too with no luck

Just to kind of consolidate all the info available:
This is a seasonal catch; from 22 September to 20 March approximately
Azshara, Bay of Storms is the best place
12:00-18:00 is the best time for around 20~25% catch rate
