My god… So ZERO customization option that actually suits the forsaken theme? We rolled a forsaken for gores. wears and tears. Not for to be like hunched humans.
How about you bring back those options you removed in WOD like Jawless female forsaken? And those different tongue colors as well?
I for instance never found the will to level an Undead character past level 30ish because I found the exposed bones pretty annoying, and love the new options.
But nothing stops you from proposing new gory options as you did.
In fact, if you can think of even more, you should probably make a full list and post it both here and on all the customization threads on this forum for Blizzard to notice.
The fans voicing for boneless models have been listened. If the community also supports you, there may be more additions of your liking, also.
While certain people might find the gore and rotting corpse/zombie theme… appealing, others don’t
Not to mention its a bit nonsense when it comes to lore
The forsaken are decaying rotting zombies, thats true, but they mastered the delicate art of taxidermy to keep thesmelves together and repair if needed
So - while tailors usually the one with the pants with holes as the saying go - its not that logical for race that centered around to not rot away to skeleton mode look like a roadkill
Have some dignity man!
I mean it kinda is, if the person in question ended up being a roadkill at the end of their non undead lifespan.
The metal jaws and all that jazz make sense, but how would one replace several broken ribs and a crushed spine after a human was mauled to death by a tauren using a battlehammer? I don’t think taxidermy would cut it in this case.
I personally would like simply more customization options.
I don’t mind there being almost completly human forsaken who died by having their mind flayed by a shadowpriest or something, but at the same time, I’d like a bit more death for my forsaken as well.
I mean while Benjamin does indeed seem to believe their opinion is the only proper one, it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have any merit.
I like having the option to go more human forsaken, in the near future. But I’d also like to have the option of going more corpse / ghoulish forsaken. And I don’t think asking for either is unreasonable.
You do know that we haven’t even seen all the options yet? Just a few things that have been datamined. Shadowlands is still months away, plenty can be added so before you start to rage, how about waiting till everything has been revealed?
Ahaha~ gore have nothing to do with forsaken popularity. Undead, afterlife, immortality, edgy, evil… those were the reasons why I made one.
I have never seen anyone using jawless or any ugly appearance option. Most males either use metal jaw because its edgy or healthy-clean jaw. Its the same with Death Knights! How many of them are using decaying skin? (Its not even at gore level) People dont want to be ugly undead~ just undead
lol… oh dear. And anyone who types “End of discussion” frankly is not worth anyone’s time even thinking about opening a dialogue with. But let’s play a little forum minigame. Arrange the following in a sentence to describe Benjamin, who apparently only uses the forums when it wants to bellyache about something and thinks it can dictate the rules.
Nothing against having bones exposed on forsaken, but they’re on such odd places (why does it begin and end with just the knees, elbows and spine?), and armour follows the “tear” pattern which makes no sense.
Also, no bones showing =/= hunched human. If forsaken were to get something like void elves i.e. opposite faction skin colours, then you may have a point, but the matter of fact is that you are an undead human, so of course you will resemble one.
But hey, go ahead and carry on lashing out at people who disagree.
Oh, my sweet summer child. Anyone who’s not been paying attention to this very closely should know that what we’re seeing now with regards to the Forsaken and some of the other races
is probably all that will be seen. We’re now two months out from the launch of Alpha and only six of the thirteen core races that were scheduled for an upgrade have actually gotten their matching set of three hairstyles, war paint, tattoos or jewelry, skin and eye color options datamined. If this pace of one race per week, sometimes once every two weeks continues we’re realistically looking at early september before all of the core races have gotten theirs.
And that is one month (probably) before the prepatch hits and these options go live. If this hyperslow rollout that we’ve been seeing continues on unabated there won’t be any time left for them to add more.
…
Remember when that one guy at Blizzcon whose name eludes me said that they had roughly 40 or so options in store for Blood Elves and everyone cheered like wild hens? We’ve passed that threshold. And that goes for Forsaken too. And Humans. And Dwarfs. I realize that I’m coming off as supremely entitled here but the fact is that World of Warcraft was severely lacking in this department even before this next expansion and if what we are now seeing on Alpha is indeed the final product then I have to say that this game will be severely lacking even after this pass.
(The artists should get credit for the things that we have gotten so far because it’s honestly very fine work and they should be commended for that! It’s just not nearly enough for a modern MMO in 2020.)
