Off topic but Microsoft just shut down their DEI team

Is USA politics going to shift? Does it have to do anything with the fact that Trump is likely to win in USA?

Do you think blizzard will shut down their DEI team too? Will entertainment bussines follow?

How it will affect wow lore and future. What do you think?

(DEI (or DE&I) stands for diversity, equity and inclusion.)

People shut down something when they don’t deem it useful. Corporations don’t care about ideology

This is happening with several companies where the find that the whole DEI thing actually doesn’t improve things in the workplace and end up being money sinks.

US politics affect the entire world.

shame they didn’t do it when shadowlands was a thing maybe arthas wouldn’t be disenchanted.

Its fascinating watching the fall of america :joy:

No me , I do not think of them , guess how I am ? Old and unchange .

Doesn’t change anything, it has always been performative, a PR campaign for one group and ragebait for the other.

The US heavily influences western Europe, especially sociopolitics.

Many of the media platforms we use are US run and we’re impacted by their rules, such as YouTube going super puritan.

Now we get people saying “unalive”, which sounds so stupid, out of fear of getting demonetized.

It should not.

I really, really, really hope Trump wins. And starts doing random weird stuff all over the world.

Then finally the EU can realize that we are better off together. And not divided squabbling over local politics and other nonsense.

It dosent have to be. The EU commission can drop the hammer and make them do stuff.

Simply because EU is a way bigger market than US. Except that we are fragmented, and the US is not. But it does not have to be.

The US are super weird with their dumb rules. Violence is accepted. Guns are accepted. But anything remotely skimpy… NOPE…

Meanwhile in EU we got nudist beaches and topless as a norm…

I really… really… really hope the US becomes some 3rd world country and we can stop looking at the other side of the pond for “daddy”… EU is strong… its time to act like it.

I don’t wanna sound rude but there have been a correlation between US and EU economics between 1980 and 2009. We’ve pretty much have been outclassed eversince, as we’re just spending more time regulating instead of innovating, which the U.S is still able to do, by stealing EU brains.

An image is worth million of words

On the topic : Oh no, anyways.

DEI (and ESG and many other supra-corporate “systems”) have been going through a rebranding process for almost a full year now.

And yeah I would consider the USA and EU to be part of the same conglomerate. There is basically no difference anymore. Like Shihiroki said, EU is so over-regulated now it is insane. Many recently passed laws will not take full effect till 2026 and it is going to be a bumpy road, shall we say.

It almost feels like regionalization has led to even more effective globalization.

Those caps ssssssuck!!

Drinking from it with the liquid in the cap just dripping on your face, or if you flip it around brushing against your face. :grimacing:
