I just invited an alt of someone in the guild and wanted to promote him to member. Nothing strange. Doing it for years now. However, somehow it didn’t work. So I ask an officer to do it for me cause I was on an alt myself (yes, gm-alt, all settings were correct) and the same problem occurred. Can’t promote. No error message. It just doesn’t work.
So I log back to my main character who is the gm and without any problem I could promote him. I went to check the settings, which hasn’t changed for like ages but you never know with the Blizz :D. All settings are correct and according to those officers should be able to do everything.
So, why is it not working? Others have encountered this problem? How can I solve it?
