The only blue posts on eu-forums seems to be auto generated now and they said once they are only allowed to respond to zero controverse topics, and read-only the rest. Maybe they have a policy to not respond at all now cause that made people angry too…
Anyways, this exlusiveness thingie increase the impression of blizzard going for maximum profit with everything, not wanting to share anything with retailers as the most recent decision.
I am not sure that anyone at Blizzard can answer as the Blizzard store is run by a third party and not by Blizzard themselves.

i had exactly the same problem tried to buy the collectors edition from the eu store , card declined ,sent ticket to blizzard they said its not us your bank declined payment , next day i visited my bank and they said we have no records of any transaction from yesterday involving blizzared for this amount , so once again blizzard are lying in their teeth they realy are getting shameless to deal with now

They would surely have all the influence when the web shop get exclusives, and is their own branded online store. If the store is not satisfying the customers, it directly reflects back to Blizzard when they as a store represents Blizzards appearance for merchandise.
Try to call them, and have them check why card transactions is blocked for that website. Don’t go visit the bank, they will never talk to the Bank’s IT tech people that way. Contact their helpdesk and ask they check with the IT department why the cards get declined. They will never see transaction attempts as the refusal of cards happen before any transaction traces are logged.
What?! It wont be sold in retail or webshops other than blizz one???

indeed. and their store is a scam front, so it is like russian roulette, they can cancel your order of CE AFTER release date…because they did not anticipate enough stock…saw several user reviews stating they did this. AND refused to refund the money paid for the preorders…

I had to literally contact my bank to have them temporarily lift the block of the Blizzard gear store to order a collectors edition. I would like that box on the shelf next to the others.
Will find out if it´s a scam soon enough…
It may not be a scam it’s simply put that the merchant blizzard is using to sell their gear is not VBV (Verified by Visa) and it’s Visa putting the block on the sale going through incase it’s fraudulent.
Whilst working in finance I have learned that people really don’t know how money works so let me give you a brief explanation.
You purchase an Item from a merchant, that merchant requests money from your account so Visa pulls the money out of your account and holds onto it while it verifies the merchant is genuine after confirming all that Visa holds onto the funds for up to 7 days then releases it allowing the merchant to collect it to which they have up to 180 days to collect on it.
People seriously have no idea how money works.
Just tried calling my bank “handelsbanken” and according to their tech department the site is blocked due to many reports of scams/fraud. They cannot or will not unlock it and just said “You could try later, maybe it will work, but unlikely”
So ye, nice only wanted the box itself for the Collection row…
Guess this will be the first CE box that will be missing due to this excellent exclusive seller site blizzard now has.
Maybe someone will sell the box on ebay some day for some absurd price.
