I am so tired of this thread, but it bothers me. Last time I was ask on forum how can I play this scenario. I even contact with Blizz support and they wrote me back, that I will be able do this scenario after I reach lvl 48. I had character with lvl 47 on PTR, so I go to play it, and when reach 48, there’s nothing happen. I don’t get this quest and Mathias Shaw was’nt in Stromwin Harbor like before prepatch.
So I have question for you, are there anybody, who got this quest after pre-patch and how? Maybe it is not availible for player who start leveling with Exile’s Reach and then leveling in BfA? Maybe I must leveling character in elder content?
Honestly unsure if you can do this any more. If you started with exile’s reach then no I don’t think you can do it. My KT didn’t get the option to do it but that’s an allied race, so unsure about a normal character.
I’d love to know as well. Legion still has the intro quest and WoD still gives you the option to do the Blasted Lands intro questline if you abandon the quest that sends you to Khadgar near the portal.
My partner and I between us have levelled quite a few alts since the pre-patch came out, both Alliance and Horde, and on all characters we did not get the option to do the Battle for Lordaeron, we were shafted immediately into the quests that normally would follow its completion. All of our alts were started on Exiles’ Reach or were Allied Races. I haven’t tried levelling a character through an old zone yet, but I did have another option.
I signed onto an old alt that I got to level 60 with before the prepatch (level 25 now) and tried to start bfa, same as with alts created since, it entirely skipped Battle for Lordaeron. I wonder if this is just the way of it now.
So, I think, that its some kind of bug, or something, if they said we can do this scenario, but no one can. It was in official patch notes, and in reply from Blizzard Support.
