Come on, give us an option to earn these appearances again (recolors?), because all this drama is comical at this point.

No, because accepting a quest when Legion was current content is prestige… somehow.

I somewhat doubt they can unbug the current sparklekitty bug without causing some major actual damage in-game. A rollback now would be, more or less, lethal.
Them stalking achievements to disable it sounds like a good idea on paper but I just know the headache that is to follow.
Then comes the other question: how will they remove the forms from players that have it on currently? Current Blizzard aren’t competent enough to do it, let’s not even sugar coat it.
Firelands kitty is a great example of how much they can mess up. It has long disappeared from some players barbershop without them being able to fix it.
Just give the appearance to everyone with achievement from current MT as well. We already passed the point of rewards exclusivity, as in classic lot more ppl got scarab lord, in mop remix we got toy to simulate legendary cloak effects, in legion remix trial of valor mythic sets, also spellwing and so on. Argument of exclusivity and prestige doesn’t work anymore.

Make no mistake whatsoever: I want them to make the forms, heck every MT weapon skin, available to everyone. I don’t buy the prestige argument at all, or the BS “exclusive” one.
I’m just wondering, if they’re able to “fix” the bug, and if so, how.
I doubt they’ll be able to tho, lol. 
Would be funny if everyone who kept the quest all the way from Legion and just did it recently also lost their sparkly cat.

Nah yeah, I dont disagree with you, just elaborated a bit more. But yeah, it seems that fix might not be that easy, especially with high risk to break stuff. Imagine outrage if ppl lose their forms earned in legion.

I played the original version of Legion from day one. I really liked it, until I got stuck with the reputation grind for the Nightfallen, and that’s when I quit the game for a while (I was playing a Hunter). When I came back (maybe a few days before BFA launched), there was this opportunity to get the Druid skins through the Mage Tower challenges — but I only found out about it in the very last days. I didn’t have a high-level Druid, I was a bit rusty in the game, and my PC back then made the game lag a lot, so in the end I couldn’t get the skin.
I later managed to get the Felbear skin after a few attempts with my current PC, which is a beast. But the fact that the Might of the Grizzlemaw forms are no longer obtainable really stuck with me. In my opinion, it’s unfair — at least for those of us who bought the game at full price — not to give a second chance after all these years.
And just to add to the topic, I have unlocked MT skins on rogue, except sub, disc priest, BM hunter, unholy and frost DKs. And I believe it would be nice that everyone else could experience the same - going through challenge and actually getting something cool, because the challenge is still there.
