Has Blizzard said anything about what will happen in Classic WOTLK for owners of those things?
I know CE rewards will be available for the people who bought the original CE like me, because I already have Vanilla CE pet on Classic Era and Vanilla and TBC CE pets on TBC, so I expect the same from WOTLK CE. I don’t remember if other games CE’s like Starcraft 2 were available in WOTLK or those were not released until Cata.
Then we also have the shop mounts and pets. Some were already available in WOTLK, so I expect at least to have those on Classic WOTLK. It will be a dick move to make us pay for it again.
The last one I am not so sure about. If I am right Blizzcon Virtual tickets started in WOTLK, right? Or those started on Cataclysm? I hope to also get my Blizzcon murlocks on Classic WOTLK.
Actually the Blizzcon Murlocs started already in 2005 with Murky. And both tried out for Classic and TBC and only the white murloc which where given as a redemption for EU is in TBC Classic. Blizzcon Murlocs stay retail only.
That is a pity. I hope they change their mind with WOTLK murlocks given that from WOTLK onwards Blizzcon was online and so there are more people who go those rewards compared with the first Blizzcons.
The thing is that real money rewards available to players are increasing as more and more expansions are added to Classic. WOTLK introduced Blizzcon online, other game’s CE, and the shop. Cataclysm added the 12-month promotion mount, etc.
PD: This does not mean I am ok with owners of 2005 Murky doesn’t be allowed to have it on Classic.
