Old content should be relevant

^^ This is the only way I can see old raids etc being used.

Would be nice if they actually added all the dungeons from each tw era as well instead of a selection.

M+ on old dungeons… now that’s a great idea!

Yep and the solution… HOUSING!
All kinds of items could drop from all that old content.

The solution you bring up sadly doesn’t work. Because people will always go for the path of least resistance and just run that one easiest dungeon and that one easiest raid, forever and ever.

Timewalking would be a better solution for this.
The reason why M+ is a no go is that old dungeons had very few mechanics, as they were designed with weak players in mind. (As per gear, of course.) Since modern WoW’s players are powerful and have a ton of different utilities, the old dungeons wouldn’t provide a proper challenge for their loot. Same for old raids, most bosses had half a dozen abilities maybe, unlike now.

I’d happily rerun them but… it’s not worth it that way.

If old content will be “relevant”, then forget about fast new content releases. It will work same way as in gw2 where players are waiting 5 years for new expansion

Cause at some point game would be too big and offer too much “relevant” content. With current speed of releasing new content by Blizzard.

Old content is “irrelevant” in WoW, however it’s still in game. No one prevents you from doing it. Also this way you can get achievements, transmogs etc, etc. So it’s still relevant in some way.

In my opinion you are unnecessarily trying to change something that already works well.
Stop chasing the mice in your head

We somewhat have this with timewalking, but there should be some types of quests in the old zones, like during BFA, are we to believe that the azerite in the ground only affected Kul Tirans, Zandalar, Uldar, Slithus and Pandaria?? It was called BFA, so we should have had battles all over the old zones. Yes we had the Darkshore Warfront and the Arathi ones but what about other places?

It would be great for example, to see how Stormwind is coping without Anduin and the faction leaders being stuck in the SL or what is being done in the former Undercity . Quests in those zones would make sense as it continues the storylines etc. We did have some of this with Legion as we went back to Duskwood and to Karazan, plus some of the class hall quests too you back to old zones.
