Old PVP achievements should be remove before next Expansion

When I’m looking for people to play RBG people show me 2011-2015 achievements … (most likely during this period they played their spoiled class and achieved the achievement with ease)
When I am looking for a good group, everyone expects an achievement above 2200 from me. Which is quite harmful for new people, but who also play well, but cannot break through due to lack of achievement.
Achievements should be removed and gained again. But of course before that, EVERY I repeat EVERY class should be balanced. I don’t understand why a game based on different classes has such an imbalance, after all this is the basis of this game …

I am a priest and I might as well start playing holy priest, who currently has a bug that makes him immortal in arenas / rbg but I do not want to do it, I would like everyone on the new expansion to have equal chances and that people would not boast about their achievements, which very often were captured when their class was broken.

The PVP season on the new expansion pack should not be opened until each class is repaired. They should also completely reduce the number of interrupts, stuns etc it’s too much for this game … PVP was much better when Stuny had few classes, now every class has one …

even better than those who get achievements from 1 decade ago are the guys who get their achievements in season/patch parts, where their class is absolutly busted.

Just looking at Turbo Cleaves in WoD patch 1, Rogue every first 2 weeks of a new addon, Hero-Class’ in the first season of their expansion, etc…

Or Prepatch-Heros.

So basically you’re asking for peoples experience and accomplishments to be wiped ?

No. Not a fan of that in the slightest.
They’re date stamped for a reason. Either pay attention the date or don’t. It’s up to you. “Delete peoples accomplishments because I’m too lazy to look up their profiles” is not a solution to anything and isn’t beneficial in the slightest.

Yeah, thats really stupid… And the earlier in time you got the achievement, the easier you are invite to Rated groups :open_mouth:

I dont get it… if I have the achievement for 2000 in 2011 (10 years ago) is that mean Im a better player now? With slow old fingers and slow reactions?

2011-2015 was the time when RBG were alive and weren’t dead like they are now makes sense. Do and RBG today you more than like to encounter 7/10 the same group.

It’s a shame the pvp playerbase have ignored them.

Look at my rbg achieves they are from 2014

It shows you understand how each map should be played, that each player plays a different role, that you can communicate and work together. That you’re just just a KDA mid player.

Honestly I think RBG’s were harder back around Cata and MoP anyway.
They were certainly more relevant and more prestigious.

Blizzard ignored them. The player base grew tired of them.

Solo queue would revive the RBG scene to greater heights than before, but I doubt we’ll ever see it.

In real life, if you did something 20 years ago, do you also brag about it? Knowing there were other times then?
At the moment, it is a circle of mutual adoration and it should change, from the new expansion everyone should start equally not only with gear, but also with the possibility of joining the group. If you were good 10 years ago then prove that I am still good.
I know cases of people with achivami +2300 who play poorly and there are people who play well with a low rating, but give up the game because they cannot / do not want to waste time breaking through this circle of mutual adoration.

Perhaps they could use a system similar to PvE? Using the names for the seasonal gear e.g. Sinful Duelist etc instead of just a one time Duelist achievement. Or is that already a thing?

It would probably clutter the achievement tab a lot though :stuck_out_tongue:

People who were good at the game before wont suddenly become garbage, UNLESS they bought account in which case its not the account but a new player etc

Just move past seasons to the legacy section.

It is worth asking whether they were good because they played a broken class or were they good because they were good (and there are probably few of them). And now they are considered good because they have an achievement and in fact they are average like most players (which is not bad because I consider myself an average player - but recently I have a lot of time, and I am not taken to the group just because I do not have a bugged achievements - and I believe that I play at a similar level as those middle-aged but with achievement, who do not even have to struggle to find a group - where I spend a lot of time on it.).

Ah, so this is the weekly “remove raider io”, but this time it’s the pvp edition I see.

Its 10 years edition.

You could ask more recent seasonal FoS stuff if you’re so worried. (link bfa/sl duelist or w/e)

Or just ask people what they played and when.

The only solution is… GIVE US SOLO RATED QUEUES!!!
Every game has them. Every Blizzard game in BNET has them!
Overwatch, HS, HotS, etc…
Why we cant solo queue for Rated BGs in WoW with solo rating?

This is a game that often lasts a maximum of 20 minutes and is not a job interview.
Also, often the achievement is earned once and it is not possible for the 2012 achievement to be updated to the current expansion pack.

seasonal non-gladi FoS tied to PvP performance have been in the game since MoP.
Ask for those.

And if you’re not willing to put in the effort to “interview” people, maybe just take whoever and dont worry about winning every game too much.

You do know we have seasonal achievements since MoP, right? You can look for the current season achievement when you form pugs, if you think that’s needed, it’s up to you. And as for others forming pugs, the criteria they choose to use is up to them.

And you try to find and fill 10m group for 30+ mins before that. Thats why we need Solo Rated Queues!

Equally annoying are groups of people who are only looking for HOTA / HOTH people. I omit the fact where most of these people probably won the title when some classes were broken.
How many years can you boast of the same achievement? …
