Old raid farming with alt lockout for mounts

So I’ve been trying to find anything on the lockout on an alt that could be used for your other chars to do easy mount farm like ICC, ulduar, Tot, MSV, etc. but I haven’t been able to find any info or solution to this ever since blizzard changed it in 7.3.5 I would love if anyone could help me out, because it’s getting abit annoying having to full clear the raids each week on every alt

I could only find this:

_Get lockout toon saved to 25 normal after Sindy, leave instance. Set up group in finder, join group on alt. On alt, enter normal 25 ICC. Pass lead to farm toon, drop group on lockout toon, change difficulty to Heroic. Kill Lich King. Profit.

It says it can work only with normal, but you have to change the difficulty after.

Don’t know if it still works, tho.
