How do we actually play these older raids anymore? What’s a solution we can come up with to actually bring them into current content instead of just letting them sit there only being used for 120s to solo for transmog content.
I think you will be able to do old raid content with the new party sync that blizzard introduced. As long as there is someone of level 60, the rest will also be scaled to 60.
There are already two solutions.

If you want to do Vanilla raids (and likely BC and Wrath eventually) then go and play Classic.

Timewalking raids are already a thing.
This was honestly what I was looking for. Thank you!
Party sync is being gradually worked on which will eventually implement it where if you play with a 60 you get squished to his level + his talents /spells etc.
Alternativley you can go play Vanilla WoW and pray you wrangle 40 60 plebs on your explicit server
or wait for time walking (which doesn’t exist for most raids.)

number 1 is not possible. raids were made for the class design of the day, which does not exist now. i cant think of any specific examples, but one could be iirc, that you used to have a warlock tank illidan in BT on one of the phases? with the toolkit locks had in TBC, this would be doable. now? is it? i’ve not done BT TW, people just keep failing at it and the group falls apart, but how is this phase dealt with now? i would find it hard to believe there are a string of warlocks who are tanking Illidan?
i had only briefly heard of this but forgot it. this sounds like it will be yet another scaling flustercuck. blizzard just dont seem able to balance numbers. that why TW’s are nothing like they were when those dungeons were current, and why there are so many issues with scaling stuff.
the same will be the case with level squish. blizzard just cant balance numbers.

But isnt timewalking raiding only available at certain period of time? And i would just love to do old raids BUT with modern wow class design. I hope new party sync will make old raids available to do. In my opinion it would add more World to World of Warcraft, i dont even care if i dont get any specific good gear , i would love to try and wipe on 25 hc LK with BFA class design
But nobody wants to, I mean few people bother with the timewalking raids when they’re available and that’s just when there’s one at a time - no raid groups would ever be formed if everything was available and rewarding

So much this sadly. I always try to convince people to go timewalk-raid but nobody ever wants to. I’m very excited for Firelands timewalking but I already know I won’t find a group anyway…
It’s also just basically impossible for Blizzard to continuously re-tune and balance the raids around the current game. That’s why the timewalking raids are a set difficulty at a set time. Part of that lack of step-up in difficulty, and lack of good reward, is why few people really have any real interest.
A raid instance stops being truly fun without the progression, and you can’t re-create that.
Ofc, whats the point? No one is going to get 8 years younger if they do it. People don’t want to relive the past. They want to have a better retail.
The 15y event old alterac BG will use it tho, and beside mobs being undertuned on the first test it seemed to be working well.

At least, you’re able to more or less experience old content the way they were.
But of course, not only the older raids are a lot less mechanically demanding than the newer ones, but also you’ll experience a similar experience to LFR thanks to the existence of legendary gear.
It’s not about getting younger lol it’s about killing other things than you do every week
