Not talking about Legion mage tower or mop dungeon challenge, but rather still obtainable sets that have only 5 pieces!
As a passionate transmogger (just like many of you i guess) i couldnt help noticing that some of the old mog sets have pieces missing… Right off the bat: Hunter Ulduar both set boot pieces… Death knight ICC 25 normal boot pieces… Dragon Soul Warlock heroic belt piece… Anthorus Rogue boots… Etc etc. Whats the reason behind that? I dont believe they were not there in first place?! Also for someone not wearing a robe missing boots ruins the whole transmog look…
Also while we’re on the topic: What the hell is with some pieces (like Throne of thunder and Tomb of Sargeras for druid/dk) having their drop chance as low as 0.06% from trash mobs?! I dont see any other purpose for that rather than giving transmog lovers hard time… Sometimes it’s the only thing that keeps us around but we gotta have it hard there as well?
Blizzrad! Please reconsider giving us back the mog of those missing pieces that ruin the otherwise good looking old sets… And please consider making some of the old content a bit more accessible… I’m not gonna be around for 37 more years to get that 0.003% drop chance bracers… Have a good day and stay safe
Alot of old sets never had boots/belts, but you can see a few of these on npc’s so obviously textures are there for it. They did add a few of these missing pieces in BFA as BoE’s, like boots for the blue DK set from icc, however they aren’t included in the sets tab.
I always thought they should add these for purchase for Trial of Style tokens, but it seems like they forgot about Trial of Style now since we haven’t gotten any new rewards in a while.
This, exactly. There’s so many sets and/or set pieces from older expansions we can see on NPCs that could be added as rewards from Trail of Style.
Even better! Make versions of those old sets and weapons, from Vanilla, TBC and maybe WotLK, with higher res textures and maybe more polished models to match the current quality of gear, and make those versions rewards from Trial of Style.
Having remakes of older gear in better quality is the kind of stuff that mostly only transmogers care about, so it would be fitting to implement those as rewards from a Transmog-centric event.
Some stuff come to mind as an example, like the Sin’Dorei Warblade and Twinblade of the Phoenix are 2 swords I really like that have a simple yet intricate enough design that makes them appealing, but they show their age and could definitly use an upgrade.
I saw some vanilla/wotlk Necromancers running around in T3 set, so why not make a few of them available for ToS tokens? Or even the oldschool dungeon sets.
Maybe the profession recipes that require Frozen rune which is… not in the game anymore, and good luck finding someone who racked up on them 12 years ago. Even individual pieces… seeing Alanna’s Embrace would bring a tear to my eyes, that robe is so pretty and it was gone with MoP…
So many potential, I hope they’ll give it a thought.
