Got the blue broom, in the many many years of the past, they always had a duartion on it, however i see no duration at all. Is this now a permanent item finally?!?!?!?!?!

Yes, but you don’t get it in your mount menu so doubt it will be permanent, they can just remove the item.

But it’s not instant? That’s the only useful* thing this broom had, that it was instant cast…
*For non druids that is

The green one is instant cast and lasts several days (has duration).
