On Disconnect Streaming Error in patch 10.0.7 (WOW51900322)

Today I replaced the data folder on two PCs that had the constant DC / streaming error. I took a copy of a data folder from my Mac which was not affected by the disconnecting / streaming problem.

Since replacing, I have not had a single DC / streaming error. I’ve turned on all addons again and have quested for a couple of hours in Forbidden Reach.

I followed your advice here and deleted the wow folder including the data folder, relocated the directory elsewhere on my pc, and reinstalled the game through BNet. Have not disconnected since reinstalling. Thanks for this!

i did all the steps advised by other players. also on my end with internet reset and driver updates. i changed the important folders with renaming to OLD , did scan and repair, removed all addons. last but not least i used ingame the console command. that seemed to work that first morning i encountered this but logging in the afternoon same thing again. i first had the impression it happens more when changing location into a new “area” like with flying. but not really. so i am being kicked out regularly now since days. not seeing a pattern. dont really know where or how to post the log so only the info here

ive been kicked out for 2 days and yesterday afternoon i cant logg back in at all…have done all steps, restart - reinstall etc etc, gone through forums and still nothing…i dont know what to do anymore…:frowning:

I normally get this when I go into an area that I haven’t been to since the patch, e.g. flying over Suramar, going into Court of Stars or Temple of the Jade Serpent. Most recent was flying out of my Garrison and heading east in WoD content. The pastebins are the occurences in WoD content. Standard battle.net version 2.18.1.14033.

This happens with multiple characters on both of my accounts. My wife, who sits in the same room and uses the same network, does not have these issues at all. I’ve done a repair, rename of folders, removed addons.

blizzard, please, what’s taking so long… since wednesday i can’t play anymore without being logged out every 2 minutes…

Same happening to me. Sometimes I am lucky to get into the game, other times straight after loading screen I get the error message. I updated to 10.0.07 2 hours ago, and ever since I cannot play anymore.

Some update from the developers would be appreciated here. We’re getting close to a week that the game has been unplayable for a number of customers. We’re also closing in on the end of the month so some of us who haven’t finished the Trading Post activities are going to be missing out on currency and/or items. This is stuff I could get bashed out in 15 minutes. If. I. Didn’t. Keep. Disconnecting. Every. Five. Seconds.

So please, an update would be appreciated. I used to fix live incidents for a bank for a living, I know how difficult these sort of seemingly random failures can be to track down ad resolve but you have to at least give regular updates to confirm you’re working on it. Four days of radio silence doesn’t build any confidence.

As Blizzard isn’t saying anything or helping out atm I’ll try to fill in the blanks.
They got a Mega Thread on the US Forums which we can’t post info or data or help in since we need level 10 accounts, doesn’t matter the age of your account only have a level 10 so you can’t spam the forums or something like that.

Anyway,
It appears someone found a solution there, I’ll link it below. I have not tried it myself as it’d affect the entire household but will try and attempt it tomorrow morning.
The solution is in short, uninstall everything that has to do with WoW, delete it, clean out your trashcan, restart your PC and then do a completely fresh install.

It’s either hoping that works, or hoping they actually fix their corrupt files. I can still force disconnect/crash if I manage to get into the game at all by opening the appearance tab and scrolling through some hats that are just untextured error boxes.

Happens to me aswell. This was more frequently happening last week around thursday or friday.
Almost everytime I enteted battleground it would end up with dc after the loading screen and it would say about this streaming error. Today got few dc still.

Battle.net version is Standard 2.18.1.14033

I was getting WoW51900322 and WoW51900323 errors with ocasional successful connections (with missing textures and assets and/or green “patches”) lasting 5 to 10 seconds before crashing.

I did everything. I posted tickets, deleted addons, renamed and deleted folders and, just to feel a clear conscience that i did all i could, i did all that the troubleshoot guides suggested. Nothing worked.

That doesn’t mean that it wont work for another people cases.

What i can confirm it works (in my case) was:

*1. Uninstall WoW and Battle.net (optional and 1)
2. Completly remove any trace of them from the system
3. Install everything again.

*1 - As a safety precaution, if you dont remove Battle.net, is to install WoW with a different folder name, avoid the default one.

Then again, this may work or may not work, but since Blizzard has been quiet about this matter (not update or a hotfix) i was willing to try everything i could and…lo and behold…playing for 2 hour now without a single dc or streaming error.

The equivalent thread on the US forum has a blue post indicating a hotfix is being deployed to fix this.

Interesting how this affected a few hundred players, they ask for help regarding the issue, get said help, data, etc but there is no effort to compensate the player base. Swipe it under the rug and forget about it. The Main Thread on the US forums is no longer pinned as the issue has been solved after a whole week of people not being able to play at all but NO communication whatsoever if there’s anything else. Like I said in my tickets to the tech team, I hope for something more than “please buy store mounts” but didn’t expect much. Sad it falls to trash and screwups like this to pile up into something even worse.

I am logging in everything seems normal except it takes me to realm selection, all realms are red and the populations say Incompatible, I don’t get a dc until I try to log into one. I was on the game two hours a go and have not had this at all previously. So for me at least, something your end has resulted in this.
