On Whispered Winds, Issues with getting the quest

According to all the guides I’ve read the NPC that gives this quest is meant to appear when you get to Borallus. However, my main has never seen the NPC and therefore I can’t get the quest.

Has anyone else had any issues with getting this quest ?

Apart from the NE customization, am I missing out on anything else by not having this quest arc done ?

I believe I have all the pre req’s for the quest.

I’ve done the BfA campaign up to (but not including) the raid quests.
I have all the BfA reps (excluding the Vale and Uldum assault ones) at exalted.

I’ve unlocked the Heart forge, Essences and what have you.

I’m not using any addons.

So is the quest bugged or am I missing something ?

You probably did the first part ages ago to avoid the green bird spam. Check sw keep

Never seen the bird and SW keep has none of the NPC’s involved in this quest to be seen by my char.

The bird should be on the boat in Boralus.

Well this is the problem, my char can’t see the Owl on the ship or anywhere else for that matter.

I can’t see any of the quest NPC’s in SW keep.

The only quests I haven’t done are the raid ones.

Wowhead, Icyveins etc. are useless, all the guides say go to Boralus and talk to the Owl, no mention of how to actually get the Owl to spawn.

the owl is there on ALL my alliance char except the 3 that did the maiev questline.

As of 6.2.3 you are still able to run this script to check for quest completion.

/script print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(1952))

just replace the number with the Quest ID number of the quest you are trying to verify if you have completed it or not and enter it into the chat window like a macro command.

do this with the owl quest, see which step youre on

I only have one char that’s advanced this far into the game and I’d remember if I had done the quest, I’d also remember doing the rest of the quest arc and I would have the ach associated with it.

But to make sure I’ll use that command you mentioned and I thank you for the information.

So what did you find?

I’m going to blame old age and drugs for an obvious lapse in memory.

It seems I’ve already done the first 2 quests in the arc and have now picked up the next quests.
