Once a warrior — always a warrior. RIP Vigi

Hi Blizzard team and community,

I’m writing this from the heart, hoping it reaches you — even if you haven’t heard this name before.

On June 26, 2025, the Russian-speaking World of Warcraft community lost someone really special to us.
His name was Alexander, but most knew him as WarriorVigi in WoW and on YouTube.

He wasn’t just a content creator or streamer — he was a true warrior in spirit. For over 13 years, he shared his love for WoW through videos and streams. His kindness, humor, and warmth made people feel at home. His content didn’t just entertain — it encouraged and supported an entire generation of players.

He passed away from cancer — sarcoma. It was sudden and shocking. Just a month before, he was still live streaming, laughing, connecting with fans. He was only 32.

I get that many of you might not know him since the Russian-speaking and English-speaking communities don’t overlap much.
But I’m posting here because the English-speaking community has a strong voice with Blizzard. You’ve shown how passionate you are, and many amazing community ideas and memorials came from your efforts.
I hope sharing his story here helps it reach more people and find a place in the hearts of the worldwide WoW family.

We — his viewers, friends, and fellow players — humbly ask:
Could the game include a small tribute to WarriorVigi?
Maybe a line of text, an NPC, an item — something small.
Not for attention, just a quiet way to say he was here and mattered.

If you read this — please support this post.
Let Blizzard hear us.

Steel sharpens steel.

Best would be a cancer marathon.or maybe a mount or something in cash shop that raises money for a cancer charity .

They did something similar with overwatch 1 and 2 with pink mercy skin for breast cancer foundation .as having lost my mom to breast cancer I bought the skin even though I don’t play mercy in overwatch .

So something similar can work in wow too and they can dedicate the event to streamers and community members like vigi and others .

Too bad about Vigi, he was a very kind streamer. And a great pvp player.

It always sends shivers down your spine when you hear that a young lad, same age as you passes away so young and suddenly.

May he rest in peace. :bouquet: :candle:
