Oondasta taming

First come, first serve.

That’s literally what I said, the point is what if other people come in? Maybe instead of being obnoxiously condescending just read the post

You made this post asking what people think about Oondasta being tamed when there are other people around. People did just that but you obviously just wanted to hear something specific and now that that’s not happening you’re just being condescending, get off your high horse dude.

Isn’t it disrespectfull against the hunter to kill his tame?
I mean people made a habit of killing rares just to make the Hunters life misrable…

You could at least ask if you can kill it, since they want to tame it. Goes both ways

Hmmmmmmmmm

Y’all could work on your own them there skills.

I still don’t get why no developer saw a potential problem in making world bosses tameable.

i never had this problem because we always killed it before they tame it  poor hunters

Or reduce the spawn timer to 1 minute. What’s the point of spawn timer other than just wasting your time if the loot is weekly?

Was wondering about the same on all world bosses. The long respawn adds nothing but frustration when the drop rates are limited to 1 per week and drop chances are low anyway.

Blizzard made a mount dropping mob, tameable. They know that is going to cause conflict between those collecting mounts and those collecting pets.

“You people don’t agree with my very narrow minded opinion so you’re clearly toxic, lack common sense, are disrespectful, etc.”

Ah yes the beautiful mindset of a regular internet citizen. Truly a wonder to witness in person.

Shh… don’t scare it away!
Its a rare chance to observe it in its natural habitat and study its behavior!
Maybe we will be lucky enough to hear its majestic mating call, followed by its sorrowfull shirek when the poor soul realises, no one will answer
Science!
The more you know…

(Where is Sir David Attenborough to narrate when you need him? *sigh * )

Wot he said.

i believe they added some sort of damage reduction shield to it in BFA because by that time, these bosses were becoming literally 1-hit killed from any ability and only 1 player would receive credit (even if there were 10 players there, all attacking)

Same thing applies to C’Thun in AQ40. You can unload hard on it, but it’s unlikely that you’ll kill it before being sent to the stomach. I could do that in 8.3 but needed to burn cooldowns hard. Other AQ40 bosses would die in 1 hit.

I tamed that one very early one morning when no one was around. It’s just a case of biding your time or playing the warmode on/off game combined with grouping for a layer or realm hop. Pretty much every hunter knows what it’s like to have someone kill their tame so a bit of planning can minimise the risk.

Why would you even do this with other players? When I wanted to tame him(her), I just created trial character on RP realm and invited my hunter to the group, to phase him. Than I just enjoyed taming Oondasta w/o anyone around

Halp!

I’m having trouble grasping this comparison.

… are phones Hunter weapons?

Everything is a hunter weapon.

Indeed they are
Very short ranged blount ranged weapons
Especially the old heavy ones
If you aim right and hit a bunny with one on the head, it would probably die (either form head trauma or histerical laughter)

This is why children need supervision with games now. THIS IS WHY!!

I’d hate to see their “real life” interpretation of Mario saving princess peach from king koopah

“Hello. Police? Yes someone just kidnapped my wife, she’s wearing a peach dress. Yes, he jumped on me ate a mushroom and ran off with her down a nearby drain”
