Just so you know, the ooze quest is difficult because you allow anyone to ooze the corpse. Whats heppening is that you tag and kill a mob, someone pops in before you and oozes the mob and you dont get credit for the ooze.
If you could, tomorrow, make it so that the person that tags the mob (irrespective of you damaging the mob during the kill, faction-wise) is the only one who can ooze the corpse … thatd be handy.
Its a good quest, but the fact you can ooze someone elses tag/kill means there is a lot of annoyance and griefing to players.
Do not increase the spawn rate … just whoever tags it gets to ooze it (or, if your faction tags it then all can ooze it), solves the problem
DO NOT INCREASE THE SPAWN RATE … you have been warned.
Or they could hotfix so that all players who tagged the mob are eligible to get quest-credit.
From my experience they can’t steal the corpse if you are the first one to tag it. Completed the quest in 5 minutes wasn’t really a problem. I didn’t experience anyone stealing my corpse while there are tons of players nearby and i wasn’t even using it on cd. Completed it 30 minutes ago idk maybe they already hotfixed it.
I despaired when I saw this quest and the tiny zone with all the mobs dead, people sniping each others kills etc. Doesn’t matter if I was the first to tag it, they would just claim the corpse before I did. This kind of thing just encourages bad behaviour on a quest where the objectives are so rare.
Why is it that Blizzard does not seem to be capable of understanding that dailies mean HIGH volume of players all trying to do the same thing. Why do we first have to endure a clown fiesta before they fix them. Why are they not thought through in the first place.
Yes I’m slightly irritated having just endured that quest.
Ooze quest during assault was bad, this one is also bad.
Maybe oozes should be removed from quests.
Leave them to Maldraxus only.
i did, horde chap kept following me around and oozing my corpse.
or just give the ooze result as an aoe effect. IE, if you tag it and are within, say, 15 of the mob when someone oozes it then you also get credit.
There are ways to make this easier and hopefully blizzard will cop on and implement one of my ideas

I’l just skip it, still it feels like when they tested & made it, it was just 1 person testing it, and he didnt know how to make it count for everyone
I couldn’t even get a mob to spawn, I waited almost 10 minutes and nothing so I gave up and farmed some tmog in tomb of sargeras.
Why shouldn’t they just increase the spawn rate of the mobs? ôo Usually they respawn faste if they would simply get killed like for the “fill the bar” quest there…

… took ages on my Hunter and my Mage went nope …
The quest is definitely bugged. I kept to myself when I did it and didn’t attacked any other mobs than the ones I killed by myself. Despite that, MY Kevin ran off 50-60 yards to other players to eat THEIR killed corpses. I mean, WTF Kevin???

At some point I decided to do the same, there’s no other way of completing it. Tagging a mob, let someone else kill it and ooze it right on time.
