Opaque A-Li's Skymirror

As title: Is there any sort of visual effect or toy I can use that will override the transparent look of A-Li’s skymirror? It’s a cool toy but it’s a shame that you go all ghosty when using it.

There’s a toy from pandaria that turns you to stone cancelling out the transparent look. It’s not perfect but beats being see-through.

I don’t know about any other so far.

Was just looking it up, it’s called Kang’s Bindstone - lasts 10 minutes.

Interesting! Thank you, I’ll look into that. There are a few uses I can think of for A-Li’s in RP events to act as NPCs and things, but the closer I can get to not being a ghost the better!

It never used to be transparent at first but of course Blizzard likes nerfing fun.

If they wanted us to just have fun with things they’d make toys like that and the Orbs (Sin’dorei/Deception) to be cancellable buffs rather than 5 minutes a pop!

Ye it was. From the very begining it made you transparent. You can see screenshots from 2012 on wowhead

Updating with my own findings:

Heartsbane Grimoire!!! It makes you fully opaque and adds a sort of shadow-magic effect to you. Very cool and thematic to any more evil type of character.

It didn’t. I was probably one of the first people to get it in MoP because I camped her, and I clearly remember it making you a non-transparent form, before the toy box was added.

Im telling you. There are screenshots from first days of MOP on wowhead and its transparent. You might be mixing it with potion of illusion. There are even screenshots from MOP beta. From the time it was added it was transparent.

Okay, I had to look everywhere too because I am getting confused here. You’re right! I was thinking of the other stealth nerf where you used a toy with the mirror and it made you nontransparent. I know the Kang’s Bindstone does that, but it was something else, can’t remember.
