Operation: Mechagon - The Mechoriginator

Why is Blizz being cruel towards the not so hardcore players?
we need to kill King Mechagon to unlock MECHAGNOMES
Exalted with the Rustbolt Resistance took forever story line was not so bad but not we are forced to enter a dungeon to Earn Achievement The Mechagonian Threat
now as i say im no hardcore player my ilvl is 400 and im no raider im no M+ either so why has blizz put this Achievement on a M+ targeted only to 415+ ilvl
i want to play my mechagnome so id like to ask if it is at all possible to put it normal LFG because me and id imagine lots of others will miss out because we are not raiders? i think its totally unfair with this last part as ive said im Exalted completed the story surely that should be enough

In 8.3 it’s being added as two heroic mode dungeons. However, it remains to be seen if the quest will be completable in that mode.

Also it’s not even an M+ dungeon, there’s only a base mythic mode with optional hardmodes. You don’t have to be ‘‘hardcore’’, you can just do the base mode of the dungeon without any of the hardmodes and still complete the quest.

Hope the Information is correct as it’ll ease the pain. M0 or M+ you still need an ilvl of 415 or more to be even considered for an invite as I say I’m 400 and I don’t raid nor do I do M+. So hoping blizzard implement the quest into the LFG this’ll be so much simpler but again why even have this in place. Surely Exalted and story line complete should be enough like the other rep grinds

The information is correct, 8.3 has the heroic version.

And killing mechagon is the finale of the Rustbolt story.

But is the quest line in place to get the achievement via LFG

Mechagon is tuned for 400ilvl players and drop 415+ stuff, if you have trouble getting into groups I suggest making your own group, doing it with friends or join a community to do it with.

Or wait for 8.3 with the HC version opening up, which should count for the achievement in the same vein that Siege of Boralus and King’s Rest HC modes both count towards unlocking Kul TIrans and Zandalari Trolls respectively.

I did this 13 times over the time of 2 months

I play 4-8 hours a day though ( Depends if i work or not )

Has anyone ever told you not everybody dedicates their entire lives to a computer game? You chose to do it 13 times, that’s not to be expected from everyone. That’s not normal. Seek help. Go outside. Fight the mosquitoes or something.

OP: create your own group, lots of people will be willing to join a non-rushed dungeon run. Best of luck!

Thank you, never been called a nolife before around here ^^

if you have that much patience use that energy towards a hobby or something. Try embroidery. Or painting.

I draw digitally & sowing

On point then.

Man I wish I had your time. So you’re drawing, sawing, and playing 4-8 hrs a day.

Well … 4-8 hours a day is outdated time

More like 2 hours after i started sowing x)

2 hours is more like it. lol

Aye, started sowing this patch, used to be 4-8 hours x)

Isn’t sowing done in the spring tho?

Sowing myself mittens ^^

Aah ok sewing then. Gotcha.

Mittens sounds cool tho, and for a cold winter the sewn wool socks are a god given blessing.

I like how our chat went from my elitism to sewing fluffy mittons xD

Well nothing beats fluffy mittens. I mean come on. Mittens. And wooly socks.

And blankets. The possibilities are endless.
