Operator Thogar bug?

I started to solo Blackrock Foundry as I would like some of the boss drops for Transmoging. However, there seems to be a bug with Operator Thogar.

After killing the mobs and the mobs that run from the trains on each side of the room, nothing happens. None of the trains move nor does the middle gate open (I assume it’s meant to). Meaning I can’t get to him and subsequently can’t then progress on to The Iron Assembly.

All that keeps happening is that I keep getting bombs thrown at me through one of the walls.

Looking around, it seems this bug has been ongoing for years?!

Has this never been addressed, or has the latest patch caused it to crop up again? It’s very annoying.

Experienced the same issue today, killed 1 mob on the front train and there was no way to drop the gate.
