Well, there’s a main issue of people transferring off these PvP realms and leaving them even further one faction dominated.
My realm was 45-55 roughly in classic, now it’s almost 30-70.
Horde guilds keep transferring into my realm, so the gap will just get bigger… whilst alliance guilds will transfer off.
With no incentives to roll alliance on underdog realms, especially further with HvH… it’s just going to get worse and worse.
If I have to transfer to play the game with a normal amount of alliance players, I’d probably end up quitting rather than having to pay extra to play the game.
Option to turn off pvp (is called warmode on retail)
such thing kills the fun out of any mmo-rpg game
I really was happy when i knew that ‘Chris Kaleiki’ war-mode designer left wow
if you’re afraid of being ganked? be in guild/make friends & If you’re hopeless? then just play on PVE server.
What?? Are you actually stupid? The guy wants the option to turn off PVP AKA play on PVE server. What does that have to do with playing alliance? Alliance is ugly and I will never want to play that lmao.
Strange, because I heard that Horde begged for BG release on Alliance dominated realm in phase 2.
Oh you are again on the Seal of Blood topic, aren’t you?
In Original TBC Blizzard made disbalanced faction exclusive paladin seals. Alliance one was somewhat usefull for tanking, Horde one was mandatory for Retribution. In TBC Classic they made theese available for both factions balancing this issue out.
Yet you act as if Alliance got advantage over Horde because of it and always bring that up in HvH threads.
Getting equal seals is nowhere near solving the only disadvantage of overpopulated faction that held this faction from growth at the expense of another faction with it player beginning to rerolling because of said change.
Aren’t like a half of PvP servers already de-facto one side PvE servers? I mean some form of “war mode” Or however it is called can at least slow down or stop the process at least.
Aren’t almost half of PvP servers are de-facto one sided PvE servers already? With others are starting to lean that way.
At least some kind of option to turn off the flag can maybe slow down the process or avert it. Otherwise when daily open world quests will hit, most of unbalanced servers(practically - all of them) will turn PvE servers as well.
Or so I think
No the solution is not to be able to turn off pvp, the solution would be to remove factions → enable HvH and AvA also in world pvp (on pvp servers). Enable communication between Alliance and Horde and let the players freely decide who they want to fight.
