Orc Heritage Questline and Rewards

I fully expect the AU mag’har to assume their clan identities once more, seeing as how the Azerothian orcs are. It would be awfully strange for them to share a culture, a near-identical history, as well as a city - and then not ride the wave of the clans coming back in force.

Or hell, just RP your own mag’har as an Outland variant - they’re physically identical and held on to their clan heritage.

The struggle is real.

The Clan banner only lasts 10 minutes, it’s not a permanent item.
It’s not something you can carry, inside a full dungeon run or a Raid.

If we are going for the principle of: an allied race should get the same things of the main race than, they should do the same for all other allied races as well, don’t they ?

For example Kul-Tyrans are humans too and unlike the Mag’har orcs they are from the same dimension as the Stormwind humans.
So following the logic that the Draenor Orcs banner should be shared with it’s AU version, than the Kul-Tyrans should also have stuff from the Stormwind humans.
This concept applies also to every single other allied race as well.
In fact let’s take it this discussion to a whole new level: why can’t my green Orc equip the Mag’har orcs heritage version and vice versa ?
After all they are all Orcs right ?
What’s so exclusive in AU Draenor ?

In fact why there was the need to create AU Orcs, when Draenor has brown Orcs as well ?
That’s where Garrosh came from.

For example when you change the race of your character to an allied one, why you have to pay so your character become a recoloured version of a existing one ?
Why couldn’t they have introduced more options on the main races, instead of adding a separate tab ?

Blizzard treat Allied races as a separate race. That’s why.
Game logic.

Cheers.

They are neutral but some death knights retain ties to their respective factions. Look at koltaria and thassarian as perfect examples

Koltaria and Thassarian finally let go of their ties to the Alliance and Horde during the Sylvannas (Shawodlands) expansion.
Deathknights usually do not have a place to return to. So the Omrega would be awkward at best since Nazgrim stood loyal to the Warchief even unto death.
Remembering the surviving Horde that probably sent the Korkron underneath him to the underworld or landed the killing blow. Won’t really sit well.

But there does not seem to be aftermath of wars.

Actually referring to the wpl qline from cata

The Orc Heritage armor quest line was great. The human Heritage quest line was not as good. It “should” have been about Anduin Lothar and how the Alliance started (invasion of the green skin orcs). What it means being part of the Alliance.

I agree that the Banner toy should be available for the Mag’har orcs too as they are the same clans as the green skin orcs and they were “there” at the meeting, celebration with the green skin orcs. Also should have had other clans to choose from aswell as we saw there was other clans there at the meeting.
