Because the more players you have on a faction, the lower the cutoff will be. Strong races usually attract people.
But yeah, can we just have 1 cutoff and cross faction queues.
Tbh human and nelf are insane too, the best thing would be to disable them.
Honestly even in pve you almost never use it, and Ă lot of people I know didnât even know you could use them xD
Not necessarily, when they first implemented that change it was still Alliance with higher cutoffs but with a lot more players iirc. Itâs because the rating players manage to reach has an impact on that as well, and the top of the Horde just didnât get very far back then, so even with less players they still had a lower cutoff.

Human one was nerfed to the ground. It should be at least 2 min cd at this point so you can actually replace trinket in case you play against something where you need to trinket stun because 3 min pseudo trinket is kinda garbage, in comparison to 20% stun reduction from orcs.
If they wanted to make those racials more equal the orc one should reduce the duration of stuns by 5% and not 20%.
If they do that people will just play human and pick Relentless trinket and have 20% reduction on every cc AND a trinket anti stun every 2 min.
Imo Hardiness + Medalion isnât stronger than EMfH + Relentless

seasons was pretty equal +/-. Even in Legion when u can take hardiness + Relentless and BE have silience instead of purge Horde have +/- the same rating for R1. This is depends on META - if there is strong melee cleaves Horde will be slightly above.

Actually this season more ally chars in leaderboards, so there is highter req for ally.
Here was another story on US for example.
Horde req 100+ rating highter that ally needs. BFA season 1.
P.S. This game needs rating decay, more rating you have more rating you lose if not played. Idk why Holinka resist this. TOP leaderboard almost just not played at all, at least half of them boosted or win-traded their rating.

Theres an irony to it that racials matter to a point the only time you usually see miniority races is for the likes of classes like druid who havenât got access to orc / human and have to play nelf or tauren etc and even then fulfil their own nichĂ©s with set ups like stomp > cyclone or melding casts.
Really sounds like racials need to go with how impactful a small handful are compared to others
Id rather them just remove the racials altogether and let people play whatever race they like the look of that works with their class, just like they did with the stat bonuses from certain professions way back. Simple fix the that faction and race imbalance problem really.
