Hello. I really like the tabard as well as the mounts. Now that Mists of Pandaria timewalking is here i wanted to ask what are some things i should know before beggining my Rep grind.
as always, i feel like wowhead’s guide is too complicated.
(oh and should i try it on my level 54 human paladin for the extra rep, or would that be hard in Timewalking?) I had some nightmares playing a Paladin in wotlk timewalking but got through it.

I did this rep 2 days ago and it was very fast, took me 2 hours in total at most. This is what I did:
I began the questline by picking up the quest Wild Things in the Arboretum in the Jade Forest and did the whole quest chain, took me about 5 minutes in total. This got me somewhere near friendly or honored. You unlock daily quests as well, I did a few of those. I then started gathering Onyx eggs which are scattered around that little island. I turned them in for rep - one egg gave me 750 rep and around 1500 per per egg after revered (dont forget that at revered, the vendors offer an item that boosts rep with this faction account-wide). I watched a YT guide that showed a route for farming the eggs because they spawn at certain locations. I did not continuously farm the eggs because I found them to spawn too slow, so I waited an hour or two before doing another round of egg hunting. At exa, I was able to buy all 3 mounts from the vendor that offers them, at once.

Well you could do time-walking and buy tokens for the rep but I think that is slower than collecting the onyx eggs. Also, outdated guides say that you can buy only one mount per character - not true anymore, I bought all 3 mounts on one character. Theres a ton tom app that shows you the eggs iirc.
oh. i already did it. Just did the quests of the zone, which is very enjoyable. and found the eggs by going in circle.
I actually started this and got to Egg number 6 before I got bored, and just ran a Weekly TW dungeons for the 500 badges, and bought the rep tokens the rest of the way xD.
Currently running my last few toons for their 500 badges for the Anglers rep.
But thanks for the inspiration to get this done today.
the daily quests helped.
Darkmoon-ride buff + Human racial + MOP timewalking also helped boost the process.
if human racial didnt exist i would probably do most of these rep grind on my main
It’s easiest to buy the rep tokens with TW badges (account wide), send it over to a human character if any, and just use them.
Stop right as you reach Revered, to buy an item from the quartermaster that gives a 100% rep boost!
And I think Darkmoon Faire is also up, for another 10%.
Do the intro qline as well, to get one of the mounts for free.
If not enough tokens, run around the isle and look for eggs. They are a repeatable turnin.
i did it but didnt get any free mounts. weird
also Legion TW badges is usable to get reps exalted to get Valarjar Mount from Stormheim
but opened over 5 times with Nightfallen boxes, and yet doesn´t drop the mount

It will give you one of the mounts for free when hitting exalted.
oh i just got it. There was an extra quest i missed.
too bad i cant buy the two other ones because of cost.
They don’t cost that much I think… a few thousands maybe?
A few callings will cover it.
Maybe you could run some old dungeons for raw gold, and vendor everything that drops?
well i got the second serpent for free, because i got exalted on this character too.
