Oribos the airport

It’s just dawned on me that of all the capital cities oribos isn’t actually one. Its an airport. Let me explain. You have bored npc’s just hanging around in departures waiting for somthing to happen, baine literally living there (like the movie the terminal).

Bolvar stood at the main desk wanting to see the manager because his flight is delayed.

The maw is the employees lounge housing all the moody and scary employees who have just had enough (the jailer being a union rep wanting to strike).

The Ring of fates is just duty free surrounded by guards with taxi access home (portals to stormwind and Orgrimmar)

Ring of transference just houses all the gates where you catch your flight to and from your destinations.

The crucible is obviously where the managers hang out.

And the brokers den is there for nefarious reasons.

So as you see oribos is an airport.

I didn’t really pay much attention tbh but I’ve been leveling alot of alts lately and having to go to a from oribos so much it became obvious to me.

Pretty much. Airport of the afterlife. All hubs are a bit like that now that i think of it.

You mean they are customs guys who take your duty free and sell it to line their own pockets?? I actually knew a customs guy who used to do that, even tried stitching up his brother in law…

That’s going to stick now :rofl: Good job they don’t do any announcements, all that stone structure it would echo so much.

I don’t mind Oribos other than we have to fly through it to get to any of the other four hub zones. It makes flights paths take long. I can go make a drink and come back in time to land wherever I’m going :laughing:

I’m new there and I already hate Oribos. I hate it even more than any hub before. The whole design is terrible.

It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but we don’t really spend a lot of time there.

Many base themselves in their covenant sanctum.

Well, it IS an airport. I think the main cities of SL are the covenant-sanctums.

I disagree. Oribos isnt an airport. You know why? Because Oribos is a BAD JOKE.

Like, say what you will about BfA but Boralus and Zuldazar were awesome cities both.

I think it’s fine, would’ve been better if there was a portal back to the covenant sanctum instead of just having one to Oribos.
