Original Characters?

Firstly, please accept my apologies for this message. I am sure it has been asked many times, I just can put in the correct search parameters (noob).

My question is simple. I was playing this game when it was originally released in 2005 as well as TBC and Wrath of the Lich King. I stopped playing due to having family but recently found out about re-release of Classis WoW and TBC. I am now fully subscribed and playing TBC again (and loving it).

I was hoping I might be able to revisit my original characters from back in the day and wondered if these characters still existed and if so, where? I remember the account e-mail address and even still have the original installation CD’s but just wondered if it was possible at all to get to my old lovable characters.

Thank you for the patience in not shouting me down for asking what MUST be a duplicate question.

You need to open a ticket with all the information you can remember, and I do mean all. Every little bit helps including the CD keys.

The old Warcraft account will be there somewhere but they cannot merge it with your current one, all they can do is add the account to your battle.net account, which would mean paying twice to play them.

If you still have access to the email and you had an old battle.net account it was on, you can try recovering your password.
