Can someone confirm this? It is not my Prat addon, but native config where I specifically have not selected to show other people’s actions in “My actions”, but during combat (Valdrakken dummy) I am seeing log entries for the crafting actions of people nearby, beyond 40 yards even.
WTH is this? Another bug?
Just fight a dummy in the PvP room, maybe ideally the center one, and observe, during busy times there will probably be crafting infos in the “My Actions” section of the combat log. (Maybe hard to test reliably, thoigh.)
Thank you. I formerly accessed the settings via the log pane, and it put me right to the settings in the screenshot, so I didn’t realize it’s the same overall system, also because it is misleaing. (It was ticked, indeed. But I don’t know why. Whatever did it seems to also have ticked Experience and Honor, and I assume Opening, Pet Info and Misc Info is supposed to be ticked.)
The problem is: As I said, for the combat log the selected message source is only Me, so it shouldn’t list craftings done by other people nearby.
And that’s why you should also check out Elahri’s suggestion of looking at your Combat Log config.
There are messages. And there are logs (windows). As I understand it, any message can be directed to any log (window). Your Combat Log is just another log to the system, but somehow the Tradeskill message that was generated was directed there.
I don’t know enough about it to be more specific, and if the Tradeskill box is unticked. maybe the message is never generated and the problem goes away, but if it persists, have a look at the Combat Log Config.
